ホセア書	Hosea 1	1
1	1 The word of the Lord that came to Hosea the son of Beeri, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel.	ユダヤの王ウジヤ、ヨタム、アハズ、ヒゼキヤの世、イスラエルの王ヨアシの子ヤラベアムの世に、ベエリの子ホセアに臨んだ主の言葉。
1	2 When the Lord began to speak by Hosea, the Lord said to Hosea: "Go, take yourself a wife of harlotry And children of harlotry, For the land has committed great harlotry By departing from the Lord."	主が最初ホセアによって語られた時、主はホセアに言われた、「行って、淫行の妻と、淫行によって生れた子らを受けいれよ。この国は主にそむいて、はなはだしい淫行をなしているからである」。
1	3 So he went and took Gomer the daughter of Diblaim, and she conceived and bore him a son.	そこで彼は行ってデブライムの娘ゴメルをめとった。彼女はみごもって男の子を産んだ。
1	4 Then the Lord said to him: "Call his name Jezreel, For in a little while I will avenge the bloodshed of Jezreel on the house of Jehu, And bring an end to the kingdom of the house of Israel.	主はまた彼に言われた、「あなたはその子の名をエズレルと名づけよ。しばらくしてわたしはエズレルの血のためにエヒウの家を罰し、イスラエルの家の国を滅ぼすからである。
1	5 It shall come to pass in that day That I will break the bow of Israel in the Valley of Jezreel."	その日、わたしはエズレルの谷でイスラエルの弓を折る」と。
1	6 And she conceived again and bore a daughter. Then God said to him: "Call her name Lo-Ruhamah, For I will no longer have mercy on the house of Israel, But I will utterly take them away.	ゴメルはまたみごもって女の子を産んだ。主はホセアに言われた、「あなたはその名をロルハマと名づけよ。わたしはもはやイスラエルの家をあわれまず、決してこれをゆるさないからである。
1	7 Yet I will have mercy on the house of Judah, Will save them by the Lord their God, And will not save them by bow, Nor by sword or battle, By horses or horsemen."	しかし、わたしはユダの家をあわれみ、その神、主によってこれを救う。わたしは弓、つるぎ、戦争、馬および騎兵によって救うのではない」と。
1	8 Now when she had weaned Lo-Ruhamah, she conceived and bore a son.	ゴメルはロルハマを乳離れさせたとき、またみごもって男の子を産んだ。
1	9 Then God said: "Call his name Lo-Ammi, For you are not My people, And I will not be your God.	主は言われた、「その子の名をロアンミと名づけよ。あなたがたは、わたしの民ではなく、わたしは、あなたがたの神ではないからである」。
1	10 "Yet the number of the children of Israel Shall be as the sand of the sea, Which cannot be measured or numbered. And it shall come to pass In the place where it was said to them, 'You are not My people,' There it shall be said to them, 'You are sons of the living God.'	しかしイスラエルの人々の数は海の砂のように量ることも、数えることもできないほどになって、さきに彼らが「あなたがたは、わたしの民ではない」と言われたその所で、「あなたがたは生ける神の子である」と言われるようになる。
1	11 Then the children of Judah and the children of Israel Shall be gathered together, And appoint for themselves one head; And they shall come up out of the land, For great will be the day of Jezreel!	そしてユダの人々とイスラエルの人々は共に集まり、ひとりの長を立てて、その地からのぼって来る。エズレルの日は大いなるものとなる。
ホセア書	Hosea 2	2
2	1 Say to your brethren, 'My people,' And to your sisters, 'Mercy is shown.'	あなたがたの兄弟に向かっては「アンミ（わが民）」と言い、あなたがたの姉妹に向かっては「ルハマ（あわれまれる者）」と言え。
2	2 Bring charges against your mother, bring charges; For she is not My wife, nor am I her Husband! Let her put away her harlotries from her sight, And her adulteries from between her breasts;	「あなたがたの母とあげつらえ、あげつらえ――彼女はわたしの妻ではない、わたしは彼女の夫ではない――そして彼女にその顔から淫行を除かせ、その乳ぶさの間から姦淫を除かせよ。
2	3 Lest I strip her naked And expose her, as in the day she was born, And make her like a wilderness, And set her like a dry land, And slay her with thirst.	そうでなければ、わたしは彼女の着物をはいで裸にし、その生れ出た日のようにし、また荒野のようにし、かわききった地のようにし、かわきによって彼女を殺す。
2	4 "I will not have mercy on her children, For they are the children of harlotry.	わたしはその子らをあわれまない、彼らは淫行の子らだからである。
2	5 For their mother has played the harlot; She who conceived them has behaved shamefully. For she said, 'I will go after my lovers, Who give me my bread and my water, My wool and my linen, My oil and my drink.'	彼らの母は淫行をなし、彼らをはらんだ彼女は恥ずべきことを行った。彼女は言った、『わたしはわが恋人たちについて行こう。彼らはパンと水と羊の毛と麻と油と飲み物とを、わたしに与える者である』と。
2	6 "Therefore, behold, I will hedge up your way with thorns, And wall her in, So that she cannot find her paths.	それゆえ、わたしはいばらで彼女の道をふさぎ、かきをたてて、彼女には／その道がわからないようにする。
2	7 She will chase her lovers, But not overtake them; Yes, she will seek them, but not find them. Then she will say, 'I will go and return to my first husband, For then it was better for me than now.'	彼女はその恋人たちのあとを慕って行く、しかし彼らに追いつくことはない。彼らを尋ねる、しかし見いだすことはない。そこで彼女は言う、『わたしは行って、さきの夫に帰ろう。あの時は今よりもわたしによかったから』と。
2	8 For she did not know That I gave her grain, new wine, and oil, And multiplied her silver and gold-- Which they prepared for Baal.	彼女に穀物と酒と油とを与えた者、またバアルのために用いた銀と金とを／多く彼女に与えた者は、わたしであったことを彼女は知らなかった。
2	9"Therefore I will return and take away My grain in its time And My new wine in its season, And will take back My wool and My linen, Given to cover her nakedness.	それゆえ、わたしは穀物をその時になって奪い、ぶどう酒をその季節になって奪い、また彼女の裸をおおうために用いる／羊の毛と麻とを奪い取る。
2	10 Now I will uncover her lewdness in the sight of her lovers, And no one shall deliver her from My hand.	わたしは今、彼女のみだらなことを／その恋人たちの目の前にあらわす。だれも彼女をわたしの手から救う者はない。
2	11 I will also cause all her mirth to cease, Her feast days, Her New Moons, Her Sabbaths-- All her appointed feasts.	わたしは彼女のすべての楽しみ、すなわち祝、新月、安息日、すべての祭をやめさせる。
2	12 "And I will destroy her vines and her fig trees, Of which she has said, 'These are my wages that my lovers have given me.' So I will make them a forest, And the beasts of the field shall eat them.	わたしはまた彼女が先に『これはわたしの恋人らが、わたしに与えた報酬だ』と言った彼女の／ぶどうの木と、いちじくの木とを荒し、これを林とし、野の獣にこれを食わせる。
2	13 I will punish her For the days of the Baals to which she burned incense. She decked herself with her earrings and jewelry, And went after her lovers; But Me she forgot," says the Lord.	また彼女が耳輪と宝石で身を飾り、その恋人たちを慕って行って、わたしを忘れ、香をたいて仕えたバアルの祭の日のために、わたしは彼女を罰すると主は言われる。
2	14 "Therefore, behold, I will allure her, Will bring her into the wilderness, And speak comfort to her.	それゆえ、見よ、わたしは彼女をいざなって、荒野に導いて行き、ねんごろに彼女に語ろう。
2	15 I will give her her vineyards from there, And the Valley of Achor as a door of hope; She shall sing there, As in the days of her youth, As in the day when she came up from the land of Egypt.	その所でわたしは彼女にそのぶどう畑を与え、アコルの谷を望みの門として与える。その所で彼女は若かった日のように、エジプトの国からのぼって来た時のように、答えるであろう。
2	16 "And it shall be, in that day," Says the Lord, "That you will call Me 'My Husband,' And no longer call Me 'My Master,'	主は言われる、その日には、あなたはわたしを『わが夫』と呼び、もはや『わがバアル』とは呼ばない。
2	17 For I will take from her mouth the names of the Baals, And they shall be remembered by their name no more.	わたしはもろもろのバアルの名を彼女の口から取り除き、重ねてその名をとなえることのないようにする。
2	18 In that day I will make a covenant for them With the beasts of the field, With the birds of the air, And with the creeping things of the ground. Bow and sword of battle I will shatter from the earth, To make them lie down safely.	その日には、わたしはまたあなたのために野の獣、空の鳥および地の這うものと契約を結び、また弓と、つるぎと、戦争とを地から断って、あなたを安らかに伏させる。
2	19 "I will betroth you to Me forever; Yes, I will betroth you to Me In righteousness and justice, In lovingkindness and mercy;	またわたしは永遠にあなたとちぎりを結ぶ。すなわち正義と、公平と、いつくしみと、あわれみとをもってちぎりを結ぶ。
2	20 I will betroth you to Me in faithfulness, And you shall know the Lord.	わたしは真実をもって、あなたとちぎりを結ぶ。そしてあなたは主を知るであろう。
2	21 "It shall come to pass in that day That I will answer," says the Lord; "I will answer the heavens, And they shall answer the earth.	主は言われる、その日わたしは天に答え、天は地に答える。
2	22 The earth shall answer With grain, With new wine, And with oil; They shall answer Jezreel.	地は穀物と酒と油とに答え、またこれらのものはエズレルに答える。
2	23 Then I will sow her for Myself in the earth, And I will have mercy on her who had not obtained mercy; Then I will say to those who were not My people, 'You are My people!' And they shall say, 'You are my God!' "	わたしはわたしのために彼を地にまき、あわれまれぬ者をあわれみ、わたしの民でない者に向かって、『あなたはわたしの民である』と言い、彼は『あなたはわたしの神である』と言う」。
ホセア書	Hosea 3	3
3	1 Then the Lord said to me, "Go again, love a woman who is loved by a lover and is committing adultery, just like the love of the Lord for the children of Israel, who look to other gods and love the raisin cakes of the pagans."	主はわたしに言われた、「あなたは再び行って、イスラエルの人々が他の神々に転じて、干ぶどうの菓子を愛するにもかかわらず、主がこれを愛せられるように、姦夫に愛せられる女、姦淫を行う女を愛せよ」と。
3	2 So I bought her for myself for fifteen shekels of silver, and one and one-half homers of barley.	そこでわたしは銀十五シケルと大麦一ホメル半とをもって彼女を買い取った。
3	3 And I said to her, "You shall stay with me many days; you shall not play the harlot, nor shall you have a man--so, too, will I be toward you."	わたしは彼女に言った、「あなたは長くわたしの所にとどまって、淫行をなさず、また他の人のものとなってはならない。わたしもまた、あなたにそうしよう」と。
3	4 For the children of Israel shall abide many days without king or prince, without sacrifice or sacred pillar, without ephod or teraphim.	イスラエルの子らは多くの日の間、王なく、君なく、犠牲なく、柱なく、エポデおよびテラピムもなく過ごす。
3	5 Afterward the children of Israel shall return and seek the Lord their God and David their king. They shall fear the Lord and His goodness in the latter days.	そしてその後イスラエルの子らは帰って来て、その神、主と、その王ダビデとをたずね求め、終りの日におののいて、主とその恵みに向かって来る。

4	1 Hear the word of the Lord, You children of Israel, For the Lord brings a charge against the inhabitants of the land: "There is no truth or mercy Or knowledge of God in the land.	イスラエルの人々よ、主の言葉を聞け。主はこの地に住む者と争われる。この地には真実がなく、愛情がなく、また神を知ることもないからである。
4	2 By swearing and lying, Killing and stealing and committing adultery, They break all restraint, With bloodshed upon bloodshed.	ただのろいと、偽りと、人殺しと、盗みと、姦淫することのみで、人々は皆荒れ狂い、殺害に殺害が続いている。
4	3 Therefore the land will mourn; And everyone who dwells there will waste away With the beasts of the field And the birds of the air; Even the fish of the sea will be taken away.	それゆえ、この地は嘆き、これに住む者はみな、野の獣も空の鳥も共に衰え、海の魚さえも絶えはてる。
4	4 "Now let no man contend, or rebuke another; For your people are like those who contend with the priest.	しかし、だれも争ってはならない、責めてはならない。祭司よ。わたしの争うのは、あなたと争うのだ。
4	5 Therefore you shall stumble in the day; The prophet also shall stumble with you in the night; And I will destroy your mother.	あなたは昼つまずき、預言者もまたあなたと共に夜つまずく。わたしはあなたの母を滅ぼす。
4	6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.	わたしの民は知識がないために滅ぼされる。あなたは知識を捨てたゆえに、わたしもあなたを捨てて、わたしの祭司としない。あなたはあなたの神の律法を忘れたゆえに、わたしもまたあなたの子らを忘れる。
4	7 "The more they increased, The more they sinned against Me; I will change their glory into shame.	彼らは大きくなるにしたがって、ますますわたしに罪を犯したゆえ、わたしは彼らの栄えを恥に変える。
4	8 They eat up the sin of My people; They set their heart on their iniquity.	彼らはわが民の罪を食いものにし、その罪を犯すことをせつに願っている。
4	9 And it shall be: like people, like priest. So I will punish them for their ways, And reward them for their deeds.	それゆえ祭司も民と同じようになる。わたしはそのわざのために彼らを罰し、そのおこないのために彼らに報いる。
4	10For they shall eat, but not have enough; They shall commit harlotry, but not increase; Because they have ceased obeying the Lord.	彼らは食べても飽くことなく、淫行をなしてもその数を増すことがない。彼らは主を捨てて、淫行を愛したからである。
4	11"Harlotry, wine, and new wine enslave the heart.	酒と新しい酒とは思慮を奪う。
4	12 My people ask counsel from their wooden idols, And their staff informs them. For the spirit of harlotry has caused them to stray, And they have played the harlot against their God.	わが民は木に向かって事を尋ねる。またそのつえは彼らに事を示す。これは淫行の霊が彼らを迷わしたからである。彼らはその神を捨てて淫行をなした。
4	13 They offer sacrifices on the mountaintops, And burn incense on the hills, Under oaks, poplars, and terebinths, Because their shade is good. Therefore your daughters commit harlotry, And your brides commit adultery.	彼らは山々の頂で犠牲をささげ、丘の上、かしの木、柳の木、テレビンの木の下で供え物をささげる。これはその木陰がここちよいためである。それゆえ、あなたがたの娘は淫行をなし、あなたがたの嫁は姦淫を行う。
4	14 "I will not punish your daughters when they commit harlotry, Nor your brides when they commit adultery; For the men themselves go apart with harlots, And offer sacrifices with a ritual harlot. Therefore people who do not understand will be trampled.	わたしはあなたがたの娘が淫行をしても罰しない。またあなたがたの嫁が姦淫を行っても罰しない。男たちみずから遊女と共に離れ去り、宮の遊女と共に犠牲をささげているからである。悟りのない民は滅びる。
4	15 "Though you, Israel, play the harlot, Let not Judah offend. Do not come up to Gilgal, Nor go up to Beth Aven, Nor swear an oath, saying, 'As the Lord lives'--	イスラエルよ、あなたは淫行をなしても、ユダに罪を犯させてはならない。ギルガルへ行ってはならない。ベテアベンにのぼってはならない。また「主は生きておられる」と言って／誓ってはならない。
4	16"For Israel is stubborn Like a stubborn calf; Now the Lord will let them forage Like a lamb in open country.	イスラエルは強情な雌牛のように強情である。今、主は小羊を広い野に放つようにして、彼らを養うことができようか。
4	17 "Ephraim is joined to idols, Let him alone.	エフライムは偶像に結びつらなった。そのなすにまかせよ。
4	18 Their drink is rebellion, They commit harlotry continually. Her rulers dearly love dishonor.	彼らは酒宴のとりことなり、淫行にふけっている。彼らはその光栄よりも恥を愛する。

5	1 "Hear this, O priests! Take heed, O house of Israel! Give ear, O house of the king! For yours is the judgment, Because you have been a snare to Mizpah And a net spread on Tabor.	祭司たちよ、これを聞け、イスラエルの家よ、心をとめよ、王の家よ、耳を傾けよ、さばきはあなたがたに臨む。あなたがたはミヅパにわなを設け、タボルの上に網を張ったからだ。
5	2 The revolters are deeply involved in slaughter, Though I rebuke them all.	彼らはシッテムの穴を深くしたが、わたしは彼らをことごとく懲らしめる。
5	3 I know Ephraim, And Israel is not hidden from Me; For now, O Ephraim, you commit harlotry; Israel is defiled.	わたしはエフライムを知っている。イスラエルはわたしに隠れることがない。エフライムよ、あなたは今淫行をなし、イスラエルは汚された。
5	4 "They do not direct their deeds Toward turning to their God, For the spirit of harlotry is in their midst, And they do not know the Lord.	彼らのおこないは彼らを神に帰らせない。それは淫行の霊が彼らのうちにあって、主を知ることができないからだ。
5	5 The pride of Israel testifies to his face; Therefore Israel and Ephraim stumble in their iniquity; Judah also stumbles with them.	イスラエルの誇はその顔に向かって証言している。エフライムはその不義によってつまずき、ユダもまた彼らと共につまずく。
5	6 "With their flocks and herds They shall go to seek the Lord, But they will not find Him; He has withdrawn Himself from them.	彼らは羊の群れ、牛の群れを携えて行って、主を求めても、主に会うことはない。主は彼らから離れ去られた。

5	8 "Blow the ram's horn in Gibeah, The trumpet in Ramah! Cry aloud at Beth Aven, 'Look behind you, O Benjamin!'	ギベアで角笛を吹き、ラマでラッパを鳴らし、ベテアベンで呼ばわり叫べ。ベニヤミンよ、おののけ。
5	9 Ephraim shall be desolate in the day of rebuke; Among the tribes of Israel I make known what is sure.	エフライムは刑罰の日に荒れすたれる。わたしはイスラエルの部族のうちに、必ず起るべき事を知らせる。
5	10 "The princes of Judah are like those who remove a landmark; I will pour out my wrath on them like water.	ユダの君たちは境を移す者のようになった。わたしはわが怒りを水のように彼らの上に注ぐ。
5	11 Ephraim is oppressed and broken in judgment, Because he willingly walked by human precept.	エフライムは甘んじて、むなしいものに従って歩んだゆえ、さばきを受けて、しえたげられ、打ちひしがれる。
5	12Therefore I will be to Ephraim like a moth, And to the house of Judah like rottenness.	それゆえ、わたしはエフライムには、しみのように、ユダの家には腐れのようになる。
5	13 "When Ephraim saw his sickness, And Judah saw his wound, Then Ephraim went to Assyria And sent to King Jareb; Yet he cannot cure you, Nor heal you of your wound.	エフライムはおのれの病を見、ユダはおのれの傷を見たとき、エフライムはアッスリヤに行き、大王に人をつかわした。しかし彼はあなたがたをいやすことができない。また、あなたがたの傷をなおすことができない。
5	14 For I will be like a lion to Ephraim, And like a young lion to the house of Judah. I, even I, will tear them and go away; I will take them away, and no one shall rescue.	わたしはエフライムに対しては、ししのようになり、ユダの家に対しては若きししのようになる。わたしは、わたしこそ、かき裂いて去り、かすめて行くが、だれも救う者はない。
5	15 I will return again to My place Till they acknowledge their offense. Then they will seek My face; In their affliction they will earnestly seek Me."	わたしは彼らがその罪を認めて、わが顔をたずね求めるまで、わたしの所に帰っていよう。彼らは悩みによって、わたしを尋ね求めて言う、

6	1 Come, and let us return to the Lord; For He has torn, but He will heal us; He has stricken, but He will bind us up.	「さあ、わたしたちは主に帰ろう。主はわたしたちをかき裂かれたが、またいやし、わたしたちを打たれたが、また包んでくださるからだ。
6	2 After two days He will revive us; On the third day He will raise us up, That we may live in His sight.	主は、ふつかの後、わたしたちを生かし、三日目にわたしたちを立たせられる。わたしたちはみ前で生きる。
6	3 Let us know, Let us pursue the knowledge of the Lord. His going forth is established as the morning; He will come to us like the rain, Like the latter and former rain to the earth.	わたしたちは主を知ろう、せつに主を知ることを求めよう。主はあしたの光のように必ず現れいで、冬の雨のように、わたしたちに臨み、春の雨のように地を潤される」。
6	4 "O Ephraim, what shall I do to you? O Judah, what shall I do to you? For your faithfulness is like a morning cloud, And like the early dew it goes away.	エフライムよ、わたしはあなたに何をしようか。ユダよ、わたしはあなたに何をしようか。あなたがたの愛はあしたの雲のごとく、また、たちまち消える露のようなものである。
6	5 Therefore I have hewn them by the prophets, I have slain them by the words of My mouth; And your judgments are like light that goes forth.	それゆえ、わたしは預言者たちによって／彼らを切り倒し、わが口の言葉をもって彼らを殺した。わがさばきは現れ出る光のようだ。
6	6 For I desire mercy and not sacrifice, And the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.	わたしはいつくしみを喜び、犠牲を喜ばない。燔祭よりもむしろ神を知ることを喜ぶ。
6	7 "But like men they transgressed the covenant; There they dealt treacherously with Me.	ところが彼らはアダムで契約を破り、かしこでわたしにそむいた。
6	8 Gilead is a city of evildoers, And defiled with blood.	ギレアデは悪を行う者の町で、血の足跡で満たされている。
6	9 As bands of robbers lie in wait for a man, So the company of priests murder on the way to Shechem; Surely they commit lewdness.	盗賊が人を待ち伏せするように、祭司たちは党を組み、シケムへ行く道で人を殺す。このように彼らは悪しき事を行う。
6	10 I have seen a horrible thing in the house of Israel: There is the harlotry of Ephraim; Israel is defiled.	わたしはイスラエルの家に恐るべき事を見た。かしこでエフライムは淫行をなし、イスラエルは汚された。
6	11 Also, O Judah, a harvest is appointed for you, When I return the captives of My people.	ユダよ、あなたのためにも刈入れが定められている。わたしがわが民の繁栄を回復するとき、

7	1 "When I would have healed Israel, Then the iniquity of Ephraim was uncovered, And the wickedness of Samaria. For they have committed fraud; A thief comes in; A band of robbers takes spoil outside.	わたしがイスラエルをいやすとき、エフライムの不義と、サマリヤの悪しきわざとは現れる。彼らは偽りをおこない、内では盗びとが押し入り、外では山賊の群れが襲いきたる。
7	2 They do not consider in their hearts That I remember all their wickedness; Now their own deeds have surrounded them; They are before My face.	しかし、彼らはわたしが彼らのすべての悪を／覚えていることを悟らない。今、そのわざは彼らを囲んで、わたしの顔の前にある。
7	3 They make a king glad with their wickedness, And princes with their lies.	彼らはその悪をもって王を喜ばせ、その偽りをもって君たちを喜ばせる。
7	4 "They are all adulterers. Like an oven heated by a baker-- He ceases stirring the fire after kneading the dough, Until it is leavened.	彼らはみな姦淫を行う者で、パンを焼く者が熱くする炉のようだ。パンを焼く者は、ねり粉をこねてから、それがふくれるまで、しばらく、火をおこす事をしないだけだ。
7	5 In the day of our king Princes have made him sick, inflamed with wine; He stretched out his hand with scoffers.	われわれの王の日に、つかさたちは酒の熱によって病みわずらい、王はあざける者と共に手を伸べた。
7	6 They prepare their heart like an oven, While they lie in wait; Their baker sleeps all night; In the morning it burns like a flaming fire.	彼らは陰謀をもってその心を炉のように燃やす。その怒りは夜通しくすぶり、朝になると炎のように燃える。
7	7 They are all hot, like an oven, And have devoured their judges; All their kings have fallen. None among them calls upon Me.	彼らは皆、炉のように熱くなって、そのさばきびとを焼き滅ぼす。そのもろもろの王は皆たおれる。彼らの中にはわたしを呼ぶ者がひとりもない。
7	8 "Ephraim has mixed himself among the peoples; Ephraim is a cake unturned.	エフライムはもろもろの民の中に入り混じる。エフライムは火にかけて、かえさない菓子である。
7	9 Aliens have devoured his strength, But he does not know it; Yes, gray hairs are here and there on him, Yet he does not know it.	他国人らは彼の力を食い尽すが、彼はそれを知らない。しらがが混じってはえても、それを悟らない。
7	10 And the pride of Israel testifies to his face, But they do not return to the Lord their God, Nor seek Him for all this.	イスラエルの誇は自らに向かって証言している、彼らはこのもろもろの事があっても、なおその神、主に帰らず、また主を求めない。
7	11"Ephraim also is like a silly dove, without sense-- They call to Egypt, They go to Assyria.	エフライムは知恵のない愚かな、はとのようだ。彼らはエジプトに向かって呼び求め、またアッスリヤへ行く。
7	12 Wherever they go, I will spread My net on them; I will bring them down like birds of the air; I will chastise them According to what their congregation has heard.	彼らが行くとき、わたしは彼らの上に網を張って、空の鳥のように引き落し、その悪しきおこないのゆえに、彼らを懲らしめる。
7	13 "Woe to them, for they have fled from Me! Destruction to them, Because they have transgressed against Me! Though I redeemed them, Yet they have spoken lies against Me.	わざわいなるかな、彼らはわたしを離れて迷い出た。滅びは彼らに臨む。彼らがわたしに向かって罪を犯したからだ。わたしは彼らをあがなおうと思うが、彼らはわたしに逆らって偽りを言う。
7	14 They did not cry out to Me with their heart When they wailed upon their beds. "They assemble together for grain and new wine, They rebel against Me;	彼らは真心をもってわたしを呼ばず、ただ床の上で悲しみ叫ぶ。彼らは穀物と酒のためには集まるが、わたしに逆らう。
7	15 Though I disciplined and strengthened their arms, Yet they devise evil against Me;	わたしは彼らを教え、その腕を強くしたが、彼らはわたしに逆らって、悪しき事をはかる。
7	16They return, but not to the Most High; They are like a treacherous bow. Their princes shall fall by the sword For the cursings of their tongue. This shall be their derision in the land of Egypt.	彼らはバアルに帰る。彼らはあざむく弓のようだ。彼らの君たちはその舌の高ぶりのために、つるぎに倒れる。これはエジプトの国で人々のあざけりとなる。

8	2 Israel will cry to Me, 'My God, we know You!'	彼らはわたしに向かって叫ぶ、「わが神よ、われわれイスラエルはあなたを知る」と。
8	3 Israel has rejected the good; The enemy will pursue him.	イスラエルは善はしりぞけた。敵はこれを追うであろう。
8	4 "They set up kings, but not by Me; They made princes, but I did not acknowledge them. From their silver and gold They made idols for themselves-- That they might be cut off.	彼らは王を立てた、しかし、わたしによって立てたのではない。彼らは君を立てた、しかし、わたしはこれを知らない。彼らは銀と金をもって、自分たちの滅びのために偶像を造った。

8	7 "They sow the wind, And reap the whirlwind. The stalk has no bud; It shall never produce meal. If it should produce, Aliens would swallow it up.	彼らは風をまいて、つむじ風を刈り取る。立っている穀物は穂を持たず、また実らない。たとい実っても、他国人がこれを食い尽す。
8	8 Israel is swallowed up; Now they are among the Gentiles Like a vessel in which is no pleasure.	イスラエルはのまれた。彼らは諸国民の間にあって、すでに無用な器のようになった。

8	10 Yes, though they have hired among the nations, Now I will gather them; And they shall sorrow a little, Because of the burden of the king of princes.	たとい彼らが国々に物を贈って同盟者を得ても、わたしはまもなく彼らを集める。彼らはしばらくにして、王や君たちに油をそそぐことをやめる。
8	11 "Because Ephraim has made many altars for sin, They have become for him altars for sinning.	エフライムは多くの祭壇を造って罪を犯したゆえ、これは彼には罪を犯すための祭壇となった。
8	12 I have written for him the great things of My law, But they were considered a strange thing.	わたしは彼のために、あまたの律法を書きしるしたが、これはかえって怪しい物のように思われた。
8	13 For the sacrifices of My offerings they sacrifice flesh and eat it, But the Lord does not accept them. Now He will remember their iniquity and punish their sins. They shall return to Egypt.	彼らは犠牲を好み、肉をささげてこれを食べる。しかし主はこれを喜ばれない。今、彼らの不義を覚え、彼らの罪を罰せられる。彼らはエジプトに帰る。
8	14 "For Israel has forgotten his Maker, And has built temples; Judah also has multiplied fortified cities; But I will send fire upon his cities, And it shall devour his palaces."	イスラエルは自分の造り主を忘れて、もろもろの宮殿を建てた。ユダは堅固な町々を多く増し加えた。しかしわたしは火をその町々に送って、もろもろの城を焼き滅ぼす。

9	1 Do not rejoice, O Israel, with joy like other peoples, For you have played the harlot against your God. You have made love for hire on every threshing floor.	イスラエルよ、もろもろの民のように喜びおどるな。あなたは淫行をなして、あなたの神を離れ、すべての穀物の打ち場で受ける淫行の価を愛した。
9	2 The threshing floor and the winepress Shall not feed them, And the new wine shall fail in her.	打ち場と酒ぶねとは彼らを養わない。また新しい酒もむなしくなる。
9	3 They shall not dwell in the Lord's land, But Ephraim shall return to Egypt, And shall eat unclean things in Assyria.	彼らは主の地に住むことなく、エフライムはエジプトに帰り、アッスリヤで汚れた物を食べる。
9	4 They shall not offer wine offerings to the Lord, Nor shall their sacrifices be pleasing to Him. It shall be like bread of mourners to them; All who eat it shall be defiled. 9	7 The days of punishment have come; The days of recompense have come. Israel knows! The prophet is a fool, The spiritual man is insane, Because of the greatness of your iniquity and great enmity.	刑罰の日は来た。報いの日は来た。イスラエルはこれを知る。預言者は愚かな者、霊に感じた人は狂った者だ。これはあなたがたの不義が多く、恨みが大きいためである。
9	8 The watchman of Ephraim is with my God; But the prophet is a fowler's snare in all his ways-- Enmity in the house of his God.	預言者はわが神の民エフライムの見張人である。しかし預言者のすべての道には／鳥をとる者のわながあり、恨みはその神の家にある。
9	9 They are deeply corrupted, As in the days of Gibeah. He will remember their iniquity; He will punish their sins.	彼らはギベアの日のように、深くおのれを腐らせた。主はその不義を覚え、その罪を罰せられる。
9	10 "I found Israel Like grapes in the wilderness; I saw your fathers As the firstfruits on the fig tree in its first season. But they went to Baal Peor, And separated themselves to that shame; They became an abomination like the thing they loved.	わたしはイスラエルを荒野のぶどうのように見、あなたがたの先祖たちを、いちじくの木の初めに結んだ初なりのように見た。ところが彼らはバアル・ペオルへ行き、身をバアルにゆだね、彼らが愛した物と同じように憎むべき者となった。
9	11 As for Ephraim, their glory shall fly away like a bird-- No birth, no pregnancy, and no conception!	エフライムの栄光は、鳥のようにとび去る。すなわち産むことも、はらむことも、みごもることもなくなる。
9	12 Though they bring up their children, Yet I will bereave them to the last man. Yes, woe to them when I depart from them!	たとい彼らが子を育てても、わたしはその子を奪って、残る者のないようにする。わたしが彼らを離れるとき、彼らはわざわいだ。
9	13 Just as I saw Ephraim like Tyre, planted in a pleasant place, So Ephraim will bring out his children to the murderer."	わたしが見たように、エフライムの子らはえじきに定められた。エフライムはその子らを、人を殺す者に渡さなければならない。
9	14 Give them, O Lord-- What will You give? Give them a miscarrying womb And dry breasts!	主よ、彼らに与えてください。あなたは何を与えられますか。流産の胎と、かわいた乳ぶさを／彼らに与えてください。
9	15 "All their wickedness is in Gilgal, For there I hated them. Because of the evil of their deeds I will drive them from My house; I will love them no more. All their princes are rebellious.	彼らのすべての悪はギルガルにある。わたしはかしこで彼らを憎んだ。彼らのおこないの悪しきがゆえに、彼らをわが家から追いだし、重ねて愛することをしない。その君たちはみな、反逆者である。
9	16 Ephraim is stricken, Their root is dried up; They shall bear no fruit. Yes, were they to bear children, I would kill the darlings of their womb."	エフライムは撃たれ、その根は枯れて、実を結ばない。たとい彼らが子を産んでも、わたしはそのいつくしむ子らを殺す。
9	17 My God will cast them away, Because they did not obey Him; And they shall be wanderers among the nations.	彼らは聞き従わないので、わが神はこれを捨てられる。彼らはもろもろの国民のうちに、さすらい人となる。

10	1 Israel empties his vine; He brings forth fruit for himself. According to the multitude of his fruit He has increased the altars; According to the bounty of his land They have embellished his sacred pillars.	イスラエルは実を結ぶ茂った／ぶどうの木である。その実を多く結ぶにしたがって、祭壇を増し、その地の豊かなるにしたがって、柱の像を麗しくした。
10	2Their heart is divided; Now they are held guilty. He will break down their altars; He will ruin their sacred pillars.	彼らの心は偽りである。今、彼らはその罪を負わなければならない。主はその祭壇をこわし、その柱の像を砕かれる。
10	3 For now they say, "We have no king, Because we did not fear the Lord. And as for a king, what would he do for us?"	今、彼らは言う、「われわれは主を恐れないので、われわれには王がない。王はわれわれのために何をなしえようか」と。
10	4 They have spoken words, Swearing falsely in making a covenant. Thus judgment springs up like hemlock in the furrows of the field.	彼らはむなしき言葉をいだし、偽りの誓いをもって契約を結ぶ。それゆえ、さばきは畑のうねの毒草のように現れる。
10	5 The inhabitants of Samaria fear Because of the calf of Beth Aven. For its people mourn for it, And its priests shriek for it-- Because its glory has departed from it.	サマリヤの住民は、ベテアベンの子牛のためにおののき、その民はこれがために嘆き、その偶像に仕える祭司たちは、その栄光のうせたるがために泣き悲しむ。
10	6 The idol also shall be carried to Assyria As a present for King Jareb. Ephraim shall receive shame, And Israel shall be ashamed of his own counsel.	その子牛はアッスリヤに携えられ、礼物として大王にささげられ、エフライムは恥をうけ、イスラエルはおのれの偶像を恥じる。
10	7 As for Samaria, her king is cut off Like a twig on the water.	サマリヤの王は、水のおもての木切れのように滅ぼされる。
10	8 Also the high places of Aven, the sin of Israel, Shall be destroyed. The thorn and thistle shall grow on their altars; They shall say to the mountains, "Cover us!" And to the hills, "Fall on us!"	イスラエルの罪であるアベンの高き所も滅び、いばらとあざみがその祭壇の上にはえ茂る。その時彼らは山に向かって、「われわれをおおえ」と言い、丘に向かって「われわれの上に倒れよ」と言う。
10	9 "O Israel, you have sinned from the days of Gibeah; There they stood. The battle in Gibeah against the children of iniquity Did not overtake them.	イスラエルよ、あなたはギベアの日からこのかた罪を犯した。彼らはその所に立っていた。戦いはギベアにおる彼らに及ばないであろうか。
10	10 When it is My desire, I will chasten them. Peoples shall be gathered against them When I bind them for their two transgressions.	わたしは来てよこしまな民を攻め、これを懲らしめる。彼らがその二つの罪のために懲らしめられるとき、もろもろの民は集まって彼らを攻める。
10	11 Ephraim is a trained heifer That loves to thresh grain; But I harnessed her fair neck, I will make Ephraim pull a plow. Judah shall plow; Jacob shall break his clods."	エフライムはならされた若い雌牛であって、穀物を踏むことを好む。わたしはその麗しい首を惜しんだ。しかし、わたしはエフライムにくびきをかける。ユダは耕し、ヤコブは自分のために、まぐわをひかねばならない。
10	12 Sow for yourselves righteousness; Reap in mercy; Break up your fallow ground, For it is time to seek the Lord, Till He comes and rains righteousness on you.	あなたがたは自分のために正義をまき、いつくしみの実を刈り取り、あなたがたの新田を耕せ。今は主を求むべき時である。主は来て救いを雨のように、あなたがたに降りそそがれる。
10	13 You have plowed wickedness; You have reaped iniquity. You have eaten the fruit of lies, Because you trusted in your own way, In the multitude of your mighty men.	あなたがたは悪を耕し、不義を刈りおさめ、偽りの実を食べた。これはあなたがたが自分の戦車を頼み、勇士の多いことを頼んだためである。
10	14 Therefore tumult shall arise among your people, And all your fortresses shall be plundered As Shalman plundered Beth Arbel in the day of battle-- A mother dashed in pieces upon her children.	それゆえ、あなたがたの民の中に／いくさの騒ぎが起り、シャルマンが戦いの日に／ベテ・アルベルを打ち破ったように、あなたがたの城はことごとく打ち破られる。母らはその子らと共に打ち砕かれた。
10	15 Thus it shall be done to you, O Bethel, Because of your great wickedness. At dawn the king of Israel Shall be cut off utterly.	イスラエルの家よ、あなたがたの大いなる悪のゆえに、このように、あなたがたにも行われ、イスラエルの王は、あらしの中に全く滅ぼされる。

11	1 "When Israel was a child, I loved him, And out of Egypt I called My son.	わたしはイスラエルの幼い時、これを愛した。わたしはわが子をエジプトから呼び出した。
11	2 As they called them, So they went from them; They sacrificed to the Baals, And burned incense to carved images.	わたしが呼ばわるにしたがって、彼らはいよいよわたしから遠ざかり、もろもろのバアルに犠牲をささげ、刻んだ像に香をたいた。
11	3 "I taught Ephraim to walk, Taking them by their arms; But they did not know that I healed them.	わたしはエフライムに歩むことを教え、彼らをわたしの腕にいだいた。しかし彼らはわたしにいやされた事を／知らなかった。
11	4 I drew them with gentle cords, With bands of love, And I was to them as those who take the yoke from their neck. I stooped and fed them.	わたしはあわれみの綱、すなわち愛のひもで彼らを導いた。わたしは彼らに対しては、あごから、くびきをはずす者のようになり、かがんで彼らに食物を与えた。
11	5 "He shall not return to the land of Egypt; But the Assyrian shall be his king, Because they refused to repent.	彼らはエジプトの地に帰り、アッスリヤびとが彼らの王となる。彼らがわたしに帰ることを拒んだからである。
11	6 And the sword shall slash in his cities, Devour his districts, And consume them, Because of their own counsels.	つるぎは、そのもろもろの町にあれ狂い、その門の貫の木を砕き、その城の中に彼らを滅ぼす。
11	7 My people are bent on backsliding from Me. Though they call to the Most High, None at all exalt Him.	わが民はわたしからそむき去ろうとしている。それゆえ、彼らはくびきをかけられ、これを除きうる者はひとりもいない。
11	8 "How can I give you up, Ephraim? How can I hand you over, Israel? How can I make you like Admah? How can I set you like Zeboiim? My heart churns within Me; My sympathy is stirred.	エフライムよ、どうして、あなたを捨てることができようか。イスラエルよ、どうしてあなたを渡すことができようか。どうしてあなたをアデマのように／することができようか。どうしてあなたをゼボイムのように／扱うことができようか。わたしの心は、わたしのうちに変り、わたしのあわれみは、ことごとくもえ起っている。
11	9 I will not execute the fierceness of My anger; I will not again destroy Ephraim. For I am God, and not man, The Holy One in your midst; And I will not come with terror.	わたしはわたしの激しい怒りをあらわさない。わたしは再びエフライムを滅ぼさない。わたしは神であって、人ではなく、あなたのうちにいる聖なる者だからである。わたしは滅ぼすために臨むことをしない。
11	10 "They shall walk after the Lord. He will roar like a lion. When He roars, Then His sons shall come trembling from the west;	彼らは主に従って歩む。主はししのほえるように声を出される。主が声を出されると、子らはおののきつつ西から来る。
11	11 They shall come trembling like a bird from Egypt, Like a dove from the land of Assyria. And I will let them dwell in their houses," Says the Lord.	彼らはエジプトから鳥のように、アッスリヤの地から、はとのように急いで来る。わたしは彼らをその家に帰らせると／主は言われる。
11	12 "Ephraim has encircled Me with lies, And the house of Israel with deceit; But Judah still walks with God, Even with the Holy One who is faithful.	エフライムは偽りをもって、わたしを囲み、イスラエルの家は欺きをもって、わたしを囲んだ。しかしユダはなお神に知られ、聖なる者に向かって真実である。

12	1 "Ephraim feeds on the wind, And pursues the east wind; He daily increases lies and desolation. Also they make a covenant with the Assyrians, And oil is carried to Egypt.	エフライムはひねもす風を牧し、東風を追い、偽りと暴虐とを増し加え、アッスリヤと取引をなし、油をエジプトに送った。
12	2 "The Lord also brings a charge against Judah, And will punish Jacob according to his ways; According to his deeds He will recompense him.	主はユダと争い、ヤコブをそのしわざにしたがって罰し、そのおこないにしたがって報いられる。
12	3 He took his brother by the heel in the womb, And in his strength he struggled with God.	ヤコブは胎にいたとき、その兄弟のかかとを捕え、成人したとき神と争った。
12	4 Yes, he struggled with the Angel and prevailed; He wept, and sought favor from Him. He found Him in Bethel, And there He spoke to us--	彼は天の使と争って勝ち、泣いてこれにあわれみを求めた。彼はベテルで神に出会い、その所で神は彼と語られた。
12	5 That is, the Lord God of hosts. The Lord is His memorable name.	主は万軍の神、その名は主である。
12	6 So you, by the help of your God, return; Observe mercy and justice, And wait on your God continually.	それゆえ、あなたはあなたの神に帰り、いつくしみと正しきとを守り、つねにあなたの神を待ち望め。
12	7 "A cunning Canaanite! Deceitful scales are in his hand; He loves to oppress.	商人はその手に偽りのはかりを持ち、しえたげることを好む。
12	8 And Ephraim said, 'Surely I have become rich, I have found wealth for myself; In all my labors They shall find in me no iniquity that is sin.'	エフライムは言った、「まことにわたしは富める者となった。わたしは自分ために財宝を得た」と。しかし彼のすべての富も／その犯した罪をつぐなうことはできない。
12	9 "But I am the Lord your God, Ever since the land of Egypt; I will again make you dwell in tents, As in the days of the appointed feast.	わたしはエジプトの国を出たときから、あなたの神、主である。わたしは祭の日のように、再びあなたを天幕に住まわせよう。
12	10 I have also spoken by the prophets, And have multiplied visions; I have given symbols through the witness of the prophets."	わたしは預言者たちに語った。幻を多く示したのはわたしである。わたしは預言者たちによってたとえを語った。
12	11 Though Gilead has idols-- Surely they are vanity-- Though they sacrifice bulls in Gilgal, Indeed their altars shall be heaps in the furrows of the field.	もしギレアデに不義があるなら、彼らは必ずむなしき者となる。もし彼らがギルガルで雄牛を犠牲にささげるなら、彼らの祭壇は畑のうねに積んだ石塚のようになる。
12	12 Jacob fled to the country of Syria; Israel served for a spouse, And for a wife he tended sheep.	（ヤコブはアラムの地に逃げっていった。イスラエルは妻をめとるために人に仕えた。彼は妻をめとるために羊を飼った。）
12	13 By a prophet the Lord brought Israel out of Egypt, And by a prophet he was preserved.	主はひとりの預言者によって、イスラエルをエジプトから導き出し、ひとりの預言者によってこれを守られた。
12	14 Ephraim provoked Him to anger most bitterly; Therefore his Lord will leave the guilt of his bloodshed upon him, And return his reproach upon him.	エフライムはいたく主を怒らせた。それゆえ主はその血のとがを彼の上にのこし、そのはずかしめを彼に返される。

13	1 When Ephraim spoke, trembling, He exalted himself in Israel; But when he offended through Baal worship, he died.	エフライムが物言えば、人々はおののいた。彼はイスラエルの中に自分を高くした。しかし彼はバアルによって罪を犯して死んだ。
13	2 Now they sin more and more, And have made for themselves molded images, Idols of their silver, according to their skill; All of it is the work of craftsmen. They say of them, "Let the men who sacrifice kiss the calves!"	そして彼らは今もなおますます罪を犯し、その銀をもって自分のために像を鋳、巧みに偶像を造る。これは皆工人のわざである。彼らは言う、これに犠牲をささげよ、人々は子牛に口づけせよと。

13	4 "Yet I am the Lord your God Ever since the land of Egypt, And you shall know no God but Me; For there is no Savior besides Me.	わたしはエジプトの国を出てからこのかた、あなたの神、主である。あなたはわたしのほかに神を知らない。わたしのほかに救う者はない。
13	5 I knew you in the wilderness, In the land of great drought.	わたしは荒野で、またかわいた地で、あなたを知った。
13	6 When they had pasture, they were filled; They were filled and their heart was exalted; Therefore they forgot Me.	しかし彼らは食べて飽き、飽きて、その心が高ぶり、わたしを忘れた。

13	10 I will be your King; Where is any other, That he may save you in all your cities? And your judges to whom you said, 'Give me a king and princes'?	あなたを助けるあなたの王は今、どこにいるのか。あなたがかつて「わたしに王と君たちとを与えよ」と／言ったあなたを保護すべき、すべてのつかさたちは／今、どこにいるのか。
13	11 I gave you a king in My anger, And took him away in My wrath.	わたしは怒りをもってあなたに王を与えた、また憤りをもってこれを奪い取った。
13	12 "The iniquity of Ephraim is bound up; His sin is stored up.	エフライムの不義は包みおかれ、その罪は積みたくわえられてある。
13	13 The sorrows of a woman in childbirth shall come upon him. He is an unwise son, For he should not stay long where children are born.	子を産む女の苦しみが彼に臨む。彼は知恵のない子である。生れる時が来ても彼は産門にあらわれない。
13	14 "I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death. O Death, I will be your plagues! O Grave, I will be your destruction! Pity is hidden from My eyes.	わたしは彼らを陰府の力から、あがなうことがあろうか。彼らを死から、あがなうことがあろうか。死よ、おまえの災はどこにあるのか。陰府よ、おまえの滅びはどこにあるのか。あわれみは、わたしの目から隠されている。
13	15 Though he is fruitful among his brethren, An east wind shall come; The wind of the Lord shall come up from the wilderness. Then his spring shall become dry, And his fountain shall be dried up. He shall plunder the treasury of every desirable prize.	たとい彼は葦のように栄えても、東風が吹いて来る。主の風が荒野から吹き起る。これがためにその源はかれ、その泉はかわく。それはすべての尊い物の宝庫をかすめ奪う。
13	16 Samaria is held guilty, For she has rebelled against her God. They shall fall by the sword, Their infants shall be dashed in pieces, And their women with child ripped open.	サマリヤはその神にそむいたので、その罪を負い、つるぎに倒れ、その幼な子は投げ砕かれ、そのはらめる女は引き裂かれる。

14	1 O Israel, return to the Lord your God, For you have stumbled because of your iniquity;	イスラエルよ、あなたの神、主に帰れ。あなたは自分の不義によって、つまずいたからだ。
14	2 Take words with you, And return to the Lord. Say to Him, "Take away all iniquity; Receive us graciously, For we will offer the sacrifices of our lips.	あなたがたは言葉を携えて、主に帰って言え、「不義はことごとくゆるして、よきものを受けいれてください。わたしたちは自分のくちびるの実をささげます。
14	3 Assyria shall not save us, We will not ride on horses, Nor will we say anymore to the work of our hands, 'You are our gods.' For in You the fatherless finds mercy."	アッスリヤはわたしたちを助けず、わたしたちは馬に乗りません。わたしたちはもはや自分たちの手のわざに向かって／『われわれの神』とは言いません。みなしごはあなたによって、あわれみを得るでしょう」。
14	4"I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely, For My anger has turned away from him.	わたしは彼らのそむきをいやし、喜んでこれを愛する。わたしの怒りは彼らを離れ去ったからである。
14	5 I will be like the dew to Israel; He shall grow like the lily, And lengthen his roots like Lebanon.	わたしはイスラエルに対しては露のようになる。彼はゆりのように花咲き、ポプラのように根を張り、
14	6 His branches shall spread; His beauty shall be like an olive tree, And his fragrance like Lebanon.	その枝は茂りひろがり、その麗しさはオリブの木のように、そのかんばしさはレバノンのようになる。
14	7 Those who dwell under his shadow shall return; They shall be revived like grain, And grow like a vine. Their scent shall be like the wine of Lebanon.	彼らは帰って来て、わが陰に住み、園のように栄え、ぶどうの木のように花咲き、そのかんばしさはレバノンの酒のようになる。
14	8 "Ephraim shall say, 'What have I to do anymore with idols?' I have heard and observed him. I am like a green cypress tree; Your fruit is found in Me."	エフライムよ、わたしは偶像となんの係わりがあろうか。あなたに答え、あなたを顧みる者はわたしである。わたしは緑のいとすぎのようだ。あなたはわたしから実を得る。
14	9 Who is wise? Let him understand these things. Who is prudent? Let him know them. For the ways of the Lord are right; The righteous walk in them, But transgressors stumble in them.	知恵のある者はだれか。その人にこれらのことを悟らせよ。悟りある者はだれか。その人にこれらのことを知らせよ。主の道は直く、正しき者はこれを歩む。しかし罪びとはこれにつまずく。
