ゼカリヤ書	Zechariah 1	1
1	1 In the eighth month of the second year of Darius, the word of the Lord came to Zechariah the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo the prophet, saying,	ダリヨスの第二年の八月に、主の言葉がイドの子ベレキヤの子である預言者ゼカリヤに臨んだ、
1	2 "The Lord has been very angry with your fathers.	「主はあなたがたの先祖たちに対して、いたくお怒りになった。
1	3 Therefore say to them, 'Thus says the Lord of hosts: "Return to Me," says the Lord of hosts, "and I will return to you," says the Lord of hosts.	それゆえ、万軍の主はこう仰せられると、彼らに告げよ。万軍の主は仰せられる、わたしに帰れ、そうすれば、わたしもあなたがたに帰ろうと、万軍の主は仰せられる。
1	4 Do not be like your fathers, to whom the former prophets preached, saying, 'Thus says the Lord of hosts: "Turn now from your evil ways and your evil deeds." ' But they did not hear nor heed Me," says the Lord.	あなたがたの先祖たちのようであってはならない。先の預言者たちは、彼らにむかって叫んで言った、『万軍の主はこう仰せられる、悪い道を離れ、悪いおこないを捨てて帰れ』と。しかし彼らは聞きいれず、耳をわたしに傾けなかったと主は言われる。
1	5 "Your fathers, where are they? And the prophets, do they live forever?	あなたがたの先祖たち、彼らはどこにいるか。預言者たち、彼らは永遠に生きているのか。
1	6 Yet surely My words and My statutes, Which I commanded My servants the prophets, Did they not overtake your fathers? "So they returned and said: 'Just as the Lord of hosts determined to do to us, According to our ways and according to our deeds, So He has dealt with us.' 1	7 On the twenty-fourth day of the eleventh month, which is the month Shebat, in the second year of Darius, the word of the Lord came to Zechariah the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo the prophet:	ダリヨスの第二年の十一月、すなわちセバテという月の二十四日に、主の言葉がイドの子ベレキヤの子である預言者ゼカリヤに臨んだ。そしてゼカリヤは言った、
1	8 I saw by night, and behold, a man riding on a red horse, and it stood among the myrtle trees in the hollow; and behind him were horses: red, sorrel, and white.	「わたしは夜、見ていると、ひとりの人が赤馬に乗って、谷間にあるミルトスの木の中に立ち、その後に赤馬、栗毛の馬、白馬がいた。
1	9 Then I said, "My lord, what are these?" So the angel who talked with me said to me, "I will show you what they are."	その時わたしが『わが主よ、これらはなんですか』と尋ねると、わたしと語る天の使は言った、『これがなんであるか、あなたに示しましょう』。
1	10 And the man who stood among the myrtle trees answered and said, "These are the ones whom the Lord has sent to walk to and fro throughout the earth."	すると、ミルトスの木の中に立っている人が答えて、『これらは地を見回らせるために、主がつかわされた者です』と言うと、
1	11So they answered the Angel of the Lord, who stood among the myrtle trees, and said, "We have walked to and fro throughout the earth, and behold, all the earth is resting quietly."	彼らは答えて、ミルトスの中に立っている主の使に言った、『われわれは地を見回ったが、全地はすべて平穏です』。
1	12 Then the Angel of the Lord answered and said, "O Lord of hosts, how long will You not have mercy on Jerusalem and on the cities of Judah, against which You were angry these seventy years?"	すると主の使は言った、『万軍の主よ、あなたは、いつまでエルサレムとユダの町々とを、あわれんで下さらないのですか。あなたはお怒りになって、すでに七十年になりました』。
1	13 And the Lord answered the angel who talked to me, with good and comforting words.	主はわたしと語る天の使に、ねんごろな慰めの言葉をもって答えられた。
1	14 So the angel who spoke with me said to me, "Proclaim, saying, 'Thus says the Lord of hosts: "I am zealous for Jerusalem And for Zion with great zeal.	そこで、わたしと語る天の使は言った、『あなたは呼ばわって言いなさい。万軍の主はこう仰せられます、わたしはエルサレムのため、シオンのために、大いなるねたみを起し、
1	15 I am exceedingly angry with the nations at ease; For I was a little angry, And they helped--but with evil intent."	安らかにいる国々の民に対して、大いに怒る。なぜなら、わたしが少しばかり怒ったのに、彼らは、大いにこれを悩ましたからであると。
1	16 'Therefore thus says the Lord: "I am returning to Jerusalem with mercy; My house shall be built in it," says the Lord of hosts, "And a surveyor's line shall be stretched out over Jerusalem." '	それゆえ、主はこう仰せられます、わたしはあわれみをもってエルサレムに帰る。わたしの家はその中に建てられ、測りなわはエルサレムに張られると、万軍の主は仰せられます。

1	18 Then I raised my eyes and looked, and there were four horns.	わたしが目をあげて見ていると、見よ、四つの角があった。
1	19 And I said to the angel who talked with me, "What are these?" So he answered me, "These are the horns that have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem."	わたしと語る天の使に「これらはなんですか」と言うと、彼は答えて言った、「これらはユダ、イスラエルおよびエルサレムを散らした角です」。
1	20 Then the Lord showed me four craftsmen.	その時、主は四人の鍛冶をわたしに示された。
1	21 And I said, "What are these coming to do?" 2	6 "Up, up! Flee from the land of the north," says the Lord; "for I have spread you abroad like the four winds of heaven," says the Lord.	主は仰せられる、さあ、北の地から逃げて来なさい。わたしはあなたがたを、天の四方の風のように散らしたからである。
2	7 Up, Zion! Escape, you who dwell with the daughter of Babylon."	さあ、バビロンの娘と共にいる者よ、シオンにのがれなさい。
2	8 For thus says the Lord of hosts: "He sent Me after glory, to the nations which plunder you; for he who touches you touches the apple of His eye.	あなたがたにさわる者は、彼の目の玉にさわるのであるから、あなたがたを捕えていった国々の民に、その栄光にしたがって、わたしをつかわされた万軍の主は、こう仰せられる、

2	10 "Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion! For behold, I am coming and I will dwell in your midst," says the Lord.	主は言われる、シオンの娘よ、喜び歌え。わたしが来て、あなたの中に住むからである。
2	11 Many nations shall be joined to the Lord in that day, and they shall become My people. And I will dwell in your midst. Then you will know that the Lord of hosts has sent Me to you.	その日には、多くの国民が主に連なって、わたしの民となる。わたしはあなたの中に住む。
2	12 And the Lord will take possession of Judah as His inheritance in the Holy Land, and will again choose Jerusalem.	あなたは万軍の主が、わたしをあなたにつかわされたことを知る。主は聖地で、ユダを自分の分として取り、エルサレムを再び選ばれるであろう」。
2	13 Be silent, all flesh, before the Lord, for He is aroused from His holy habitation!"	すべて肉なる者よ、主の前に静まれ。主はその聖なるすみかから立ちあがられたからである。

3	1 Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the Angel of the Lord, and Satan standing at his right hand to oppose him.	時に主は大祭司ヨシュアが、主の使の前に立ち、サタンがその右に立って、これを訴えているのをわたしに示された。
3	2 And the Lord said to Satan, "The Lord rebuke you, Satan! The Lord who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is this not a brand plucked from the fire?"	主はサタンに言われた、「サタンよ、主はあなたを責めるのだ。すなわちエルサレムを選んだ主はあなたを責めるのだ。これは火の中から取り出した燃えさしではないか」。
3	3 Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and was standing before the Angel.	ヨシュアは汚れた衣を着て、み使の前に立っていたが、
3	4 Then He answered and spoke to those who stood before Him, saying, "Take away the filthy garments from him." And to him He said, "See, I have removed your iniquity from you, and I will clothe you with rich robes."	み使は自分の前に立っている者どもに言った、「彼の汚れた衣を脱がせなさい」。またヨシュアに向かって言った、「見よ、わたしはあなたの罪を取り除いた。あなたに祭服を着せよう」。
3	5 And I said, "Let them put a clean turban on his head." So they put a clean turban on his head, and they put the clothes on him. And the Angel of the Lord stood by.	わたしは言った、「清い帽子を頭にかぶらせなさい」。そこで清い帽子を頭にかぶらせ、衣を彼に着せた。主の使はかたわらに立っていた。
3	6 Then the Angel of the Lord admonished Joshua, saying,	主の使は、ヨシュアを戒めて言った、
3	7 "Thus says the Lord of hosts: 'If you will walk in My ways, And if you will keep My command, Then you shall also judge My house, And likewise have charge of My courts; I will give you places to walk Among these who stand here.	「万軍の主は、こう仰せられる、あなたがもし、わたしの道に歩み、わたしの務を守るならば、わたしの家をつかさどり、わたしの庭を守ることができる。わたしはまた、ここに立っている者どもの中に行き来することを得させる。
3	8 'Hear, O Joshua, the high priest, You and your companions who sit before you, For they are a wondrous sign; For behold, I am bringing forth My Servant the BRANCH.	大祭司ヨシュアよ、あなたも、あなたの前にすわっている同僚たちも聞きなさい。彼らはよいしるしとなるべき人々だからである。見よ、わたしはわたしのしもべなる枝を生じさせよう。
3	9 For behold, the stone That I have laid before Joshua: Upon the stone are seven eyes. Behold, I will engrave its inscription,' Says the Lord of hosts, 'And I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.	万軍の主は言われる、見よ、ヨシュアの前にわたしが置いた石の上に、すなわち七つの目をもっているこの一つの石の上に、わたしはみずから文字を彫刻する。そしてわたしはこの地の罪を、一日の内に取り除く。
3	10 In that day,' says the Lord of hosts, 'Everyone will invite his neighbor Under his vine and under his fig tree.' "	万軍の主は言われる、その日には、あなたがたはめいめいその隣り人を招いて、ぶどうの木の下、いちじくの木の下に座すのである」。

4	1 Now the angel who talked with me came back and wakened me, as a man who is wakened out of his sleep.	わたしと語った天の使がまた来て、わたしを呼びさました。わたしは眠りから呼びさまされた人のようであった。
4	2 And he said to me, "What do you see?" So I said, "I am looking, and there is a lampstand of solid gold with a bowl on top of it, and on the stand seven lamps with seven pipes to the seven lamps.	彼がわたしに向かって「何を見るか」と言ったので、わたしは言った、「わたしが見ていると、すべて金で造られた燭台が一つあって、その上に油を入れる器があり、また燭台の上に七つのともしび皿があり、そのともしび皿は燭台の上にあって、これにおのおの七本ずつの管があります。
4	3 Two olive trees are by it, one at the right of the bowl and the other at its left."	また燭台のかたわらに、オリブの木が二本あって、一本は油をいれる器の右にあり、一本はその左にあります」。
4	4 So I answered and spoke to the angel who talked with me, saying, "What are these, my lord?"	わたしはまたわたしと語る天の使に言った、「わが主よ、これらはなんですか」。
4	5 Then the angel who talked with me answered and said to me, "Do you not know what these are?" And I said, "No, my lord."	わたしと語る天の使は答えて、「あなたはそれがなんであるか知らないのですか」と言ったので、わたしは「わが主よ、知りません」と言った。
4	6So he answered and said to me: "This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: 'Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,' Says the Lord of hosts.	すると彼はわたしに言った、「ゼルバベルに、主がお告げになる言葉はこれです。万軍の主は仰せられる、これは権勢によらず、能力によらず、わたしの霊によるのである。
4	7 'Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain! And he shall bring forth the capstone With shouts of "Grace, grace to it!" ' "	大いなる山よ、おまえは何者か。おまえはゼルバベルの前に平地となる。彼は『恵みあれ、これに恵みあれ』と呼ばわりながら、かしら石を引き出すであろう」。
4	8 Moreover the word of the Lord came to me, saying:	主の言葉がわたしに臨んで言うには、
4	9 "The hands of Zerubbabel Have laid the foundation of this temple; His hands shall also finish it. Then you will know That the Lord of hosts has sent Me to you.	「ゼルバベルの手はこの宮の礎をすえた。彼の手はこれを完成する。その時あなたがたは万軍の主が、わたしをあなたがたにつかわされたことを知る。
4	10 For who has despised the day of small things? For these seven rejoice to see The plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel. They are the eyes of the Lord, Which scan to and fro throughout the whole earth."	だれでも小さい事の日をいやしめた者は、ゼルバベルの手に、下げ振りのあるのを見て、喜ぶ。これらの七つのものは、あまねく全地を行き来する主の目である」。
4	11 Then I answered and said to him, "What are these two olive trees--at the right of the lampstand and at its left?"	わたしはまた彼に尋ねて、「燭台の左右にある、この二本のオリブの木はなんですか」と言い、
4	12 And I further answered and said to him, "What are these two olive branches that drip into the receptacles of the two gold pipes from which the golden oil drains?"	重ねてまた「この二本の金の管によって、油をそれから注ぎ出すオリブの二枝はなんですか」と言うと、

4	14 So he said, "These are the two anointed ones, who stand beside the Lord of the whole earth."	すると彼は言った、「これらはふたりの油そそがれた者で、全地の主のかたわらに立つ者です」。

5	1 Then I turned and raised my eyes, and saw there a flying scroll.	わたしがまた目をあげて見ていると、飛んでいる巻物を見た。
5	2 And he said to me, "What do you see?" So I answered, "I see a flying scroll. Its length is twenty cubits and its width ten cubits."	彼がわたしに「何を見るか」と言ったので、「飛んでいる巻物を見ます。その長さは二十キュビト、その幅は十キュビトです」と答えた。
5	3Then he said to me, "This is the curse that goes out over the face of the whole earth: 'Every thief shall be expelled,' according to this side of the scroll; and, 'Every perjurer shall be expelled,' according to that side of it."	すると彼はまた、わたしに言った、「これは全地のおもてに出て行く、のろいの言葉です。すべて盗む者はこれに照して除き去られ、すべて偽り誓う者は、これに照して除き去られるのです。
5	4 "I will send out the curse," says the Lord of hosts; "It shall enter the house of the thief And the house of the one who swears falsely by My name. It shall remain in the midst of his house And consume it, with its timber and stones."	万軍の主は仰せられます、わたしはこれを出て行かせる。これは盗む者の家に入り、またわたしの名をさして偽り誓う者の家に入り、その家の中に宿って、これをその木と石と共に滅ぼすと」。
5	5 Then the angel who talked with me came out and said to me, "Lift your eyes now, and see what this is that goes forth."	わたしと語る天の使は進んで来て、わたしに「目をあげて、この出てきた物が、なんであるかを見なさい」と言った。
5	6 So I asked, "What is it?" And he said, "It is a basket that is going forth." He also said, "This is their resemblance throughout the earth:	わたしが「これはなんですか」と言うと、彼は「この出てきた物は、エパ枡です」と言い、また「これは全地の罪です」と言った。
5	7 Here is a lead disc lifted up, and this is a woman sitting inside the basket";	そして見よ、鉛のふたを取りあげると、そのエパ枡の中にひとりの女がすわっていた。
5	8 then he said, "This is Wickedness!" And he thrust her down into the basket, and threw the lead cover over its mouth.	すると彼は「これは罪悪である」と言って、その女をエパ枡の中に押し入れ、鉛の重しを、その枡の口に投げかぶせた。

5	11 And he said to me, "To build a house for it in the land of Shinar; when it is ready, the basket will be set there on its base."	彼はわたしに言った、「シナルの地で、女たちのために家を建てるのです。それが建てられると、彼らはエパ枡をそこにすえ、それの土台の上に置くのです」。

6	1 Then I turned and raised my eyes and looked, and behold, four chariots were coming from between two mountains, and the mountains were mountains of bronze.	わたしがまた目をあげて見ていると、四両の戦車が二つの山の間から出てきた。その山は青銅の山であった。
6	2 With the first chariot were red horses, with the second chariot black horses,	第一の戦車には赤馬を着け、第二の戦車には黒馬を着け、
6	3 with the third chariot white horses, and with the fourth chariot dappled horses--strong steeds.	第三の戦車には白馬を着け、第四の戦車には、まだらのねずみ色の馬を着けていた。
6	4 Then I answered and said to the angel who talked with me, "What are these, my lord?"	わたしは、わたしと語るみ使に尋ねた、「わが主よ、これらはなんですか」。
6	5 And the angel answered and said to me, "These are four spirits of heaven, who go out from their station before the Lord of all the earth.	天の使は答えて、わたしに言った、「これらは全地の主の前に現れて後、天の四方に出て行くものです。
6	6 The one with the black horses is going to the north country, the white are going after them, and the dappled are going toward the south country."	黒馬を着けた戦車は、北の国をさして出て行き、白馬は西の国をさして出て行き、まだらの馬は南の国をさして出て行くのです」。
6	7 Then the strong steeds went out, eager to go, that they might walk to and fro throughout the earth. And He said, "Go, walk to and fro throughout the earth." So they walked to and fro throughout the earth.	馬が出てくると、彼らは、地をあまねくめぐるために、しきりに出たがるのであった。それで彼が「行って、地をあまねくめぐれ」と言うと、彼らは地を行きめぐった。

6	9Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying:	主の言葉がまたわたしに臨んだ、
6	10 "Receive the gift from the captives--from Heldai, Tobijah, and Jedaiah, who have come from Babylon--and go the same day and enter the house of Josiah the son of Zephaniah.	「バビロンから帰ってきたかの捕囚の中から、ヘルダイ、トビヤおよびエダヤを連れて、その日にゼパニヤの子ヨシヤの家に行き、

6	14 "Now the elaborate crown shall be for a memorial in the temple of the Lord for Helem, Tobijah, Jedaiah, and Hen the son of Zephaniah.	またその冠はヘルダイ、トビヤ、エダヤおよびゼパニヤの子ヨシヤの記念として、主の宮に納められる。
6	15 Even those from afar shall come and build the temple of the Lord. Then you shall know that the Lord of hosts has sent Me to you. 7	1 Now in the fourth year of King Darius it came to pass that the word of the Lord came to Zechariah, on the fourth day of the ninth month, Chislev,	ダリヨス王の第四年の九月、すなわちキスリウという月の四日に、主の言葉がゼカリヤに臨んだ。
7	2 when the people sent Sherezer, with Regem-Melech and his men, to the house of God, to pray before the Lord,	その時ベテルの人々は、シャレゼル、レゲン・メレクおよびその従者をつかわして、主の恵みを請い、

7	5 "Say to all the people of the land, and to the priests: 'When you fasted and mourned in the fifth and seventh months during those seventy years, did you really fast for Me--for Me?	「地のすべての民、および祭司に告げて言いなさい、あなたがたが七十年の間、五月と七月とに断食し、かつ泣き悲しんだ時、はたして、わたしのために断食したか。
7	6 When you eat and when you drink, do you not eat and drink for yourselves?	あなたがたが食い飲みする時、それは全く自分のために食い、自分のために飲むのではないか。
7	7 Should you not have obeyed the words which the Lord proclaimed through the former prophets when Jerusalem and the cities around it were inhabited and prosperous, and the South and the Lowland were inhabited?' "	昔エルサレムがその周囲の町々と共に、人が住み、栄えていた時、また南の地および平野にも、人が住んでいた時に、さきの預言者たちによって、主がお告げになった言葉は、これらの事ではなかったか」。
7	8 Then the word of the Lord came to Zechariah, saying,	主の言葉が、またゼカリヤに臨んだ、
7	9 "Thus says the Lord of hosts: 'Execute true justice, Show mercy and compassion Everyone to his brother.	「万軍の主はこう仰せられる、真実のさばきを行い、互に相いつくしみ、相あわれみ、
7	10Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless, The alien or the poor. Let none of you plan evil in his heart Against his brother.'	やもめ、みなしご、寄留の他国人および貧しい人を、しえたげてはならない。互に人を害することを、心に図ってはならない」。
7	11 "But they refused to heed, shrugged their shoulders, and stopped their ears so that they could not hear.	ところが、彼らは聞くことを拒み、肩をそびやかし、耳を鈍くして聞きいれず、
7	12 Yes, they made their hearts like flint, refusing to hear the law and the words which the Lord of hosts had sent by His Spirit through the former prophets. Thus great wrath came from the Lord of hosts.	その心を金剛石のようにして、万軍の主がそのみたまにより、さきの預言者によって伝えられた、律法と言葉とに聞き従わなかった。それゆえ、大いなる怒りが、万軍の主から出て、彼らに臨んだのである。
7	13 Therefore it happened, that just as He proclaimed and they would not hear, so they called out and I would not listen," says the Lord of hosts.	「わたしが呼ばわったけれども、彼らは聞こうとしなかった。そのとおりに、彼らが呼ばわっても、わたしは聞かない」と万軍の主は仰せられる。
7	14 "But I scattered them with a whirlwind among all the nations which they had not known. Thus the land became desolate after them, so that no one passed through or returned; for they made the pleasant land desolate."	「わたしは、つむじ風をもって、彼らを未知のもろもろの国民の中に散らした。こうして彼らが去った後、この地は荒れて行き来する者もなく、この麗しい地は荒れ地となったのである」。
ゼカリヤ書	Zechariah 8	8
8	1 Again the word of the Lord of hosts came, saying,	万軍の主の言葉がわたしに臨んだ、
8	2 "Thus says the Lord of hosts: 'I am zealous for Zion with great zeal; With great fervor I am zealous for her.'	「万軍の主は、こう仰せられる、『わたしはシオンのために、大いなるねたみを起し、またこれがために、大いなる憤りをもってねたむ』。
8	3 "Thus says the Lord: 'I will return to Zion, And dwell in the midst of Jerusalem. Jerusalem shall be called the City of Truth, The Mountain of the Lord of hosts, The Holy Mountain.'	主はこう仰せられる、『わたしはシオンに帰って、エルサレムの中に住む。エルサレムは忠信な町ととなえられ、万軍の主の山は聖なる山と、となえられる』。
8	4 "Thus says the Lord of hosts: 'Old men and old women shall again sit In the streets of Jerusalem, Each one with his staff in his hand Because of great age.	万軍の主は、こう仰せられる、『エルサレムの街路には再び老いた男、老いた女が座するようになる。みな年寄の人々で、おのおのつえを手に持つ。
8	5 The streets of the city Shall be full of boys and girls Playing in its streets.'	またその町の街路には、男の子、女の子が満ちて、街路に遊び戯れる』。
8	6 "Thus says the Lord of hosts: 'If it is marvelous in the eyes of the remnant of this people in these days, Will it also be marvelous in My eyes?' Says the Lord of hosts.	万軍の主は、こう仰せられる、『その日には、たとい、この民の残れる者の目に、不思議な事であっても、それはわたしの目にも、不思議な事であろうか』と万軍の主は言われる。
8	7 "Thus says the Lord of hosts: 'Behold, I will save My people from the land of the east And from the land of the west;	万軍の主は、こう仰せられる、『見よ、わが民を東の国から、また西の国から救い出し、
8	8 I will bring them back, And they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem. They shall be My people And I will be their God, In truth and righteousness.'	彼らを連れてきて、エルサレムに住まわせ、彼らはわが民となり、わたしは彼らの神となって、共に真実と正義とをもって立つ』」。
8	9"Thus says the Lord of hosts: 'Let your hands be strong, You who have been hearing in these days These words by the mouth of the prophets, Who spoke in the day the foundation was laid For the house of the Lord of hosts, That the temple might be built.	万軍の主は、こう仰せられる、「万軍の主の家である宮を建てるために、その礎をすえた日からこのかた、預言者たちの口から出たこれらの言葉を、きょう聞く者よ、あなたがたの手を強くせよ。
8	10 For before these days There were no wages for man nor any hire for beast; There was no peace from the enemy for whoever went out or came in; For I set all men, everyone, against his neighbor.	この日の以前には、人も働きの価を得ず、獣も働きの価を得ず、また出る者もはいる者も、あだのために安全ではなかった。わたしはまた人々を相たがいにそむかせた。
8	11 'But now I will not treat the remnant of this people as in the former days,' says the Lord of hosts.	しかし今は、わたしのこの民の残れる者に対することは、さきの日のようではないと、万軍の主は言われる。
8	12 'For the seed shall be prosperous, The vine shall give its fruit, The ground shall give her increase, And the heavens shall give their dew-- I will cause the remnant of this people To possess all these.	そこには、平和と繁栄との種がまかれるからである。すなわちぶどうの木は実を結び、地は産物を出し、天は露を与える。わたしはこの民の残れる者に、これをことごとく与える。
8	13 And it shall come to pass That just as you were a curse among the nations, O house of Judah and house of Israel, So I will save you, and you shall be a blessing. Do not fear, Let your hands be strong.'	ユダの家およびイスラエルの家よ、あなたがたが、国々の民の中に、のろいとなっていたように、わたしはあなたがたを救って祝福とする。恐れてはならない。あなたがたの手を強くせよ」。
8	14 "For thus says the Lord of hosts: 'Just as I determined to punish you When your fathers provoked Me to wrath,' Says the Lord of hosts, 'And I would not relent,	万軍の主は、こう仰せられる、「あなたがたの先祖が、わたしを怒らせた時に、災を下そうと思って、これをやめなかったように、――万軍の主は言われる――
8	15 So again in these days I am determined to do good To Jerusalem and to the house of Judah. Do not fear.	そのように、わたしはまた今日、エルサレムとユダの家に恵みを与えよう。恐れてはならない。
8	16 These are the things you shall do: Speak each man the truth to his neighbor; Give judgment in your gates for truth, justice, and peace;	あなたがたのなすべき事はこれである。あなたがたは互に真実を語り、またあなたがたの門で、真実と平和のさばきとを、行わなければならない。
8	17 Let none of you think evil in your heart against your neighbor; And do not love a false oath. For all these are things that I hate,' Says the Lord."	あなたがたは、互に人を害することを、心に図ってはならない。偽りの誓いを好んではならない。わたしはこれらの事を憎むからであると、主は言われる」。
8	18 Then the word of the Lord of hosts came to me, saying,	万軍の主の言葉がわたしに臨んだ、
8	19 "Thus says the Lord of hosts: 'The fast of the fourth month, The fast of the fifth, The fast of the seventh, And the fast of the tenth, Shall be joy and gladness and cheerful feasts For the house of Judah. Therefore love truth and peace.'	「万軍の主は、こう仰せられる、四月の断食と、五月の断食と、七月の断食と、十月の断食とは、ユダの家の喜び楽しみの時となり、よき祝の時となる。ゆえにあなたがたは、真実と平和とを愛せよ。
8	20"Thus says the Lord of hosts: 'Peoples shall yet come, Inhabitants of many cities;	万軍の主は、こう仰せられる、もろもろの民および多くの町の住民、すなわち、一つの町の住民は、他の町の人々のところに行き、
8	21 The inhabitants of one city shall go to another, saying, "Let us continue to go and pray before the Lord, And seek the Lord of hosts. I myself will go also."	『われわれは、ただちに行って、主の恵みを請い、万軍の主に呼び求めよう』と言うと、『わたしも行こう』と言う。
8	22 Yes, many peoples and strong nations Shall come to seek the Lord of hosts in Jerusalem, And to pray before the Lord.'	多くの民および強い国民はエルサレムに来て、万軍の主を求め、主の恵みを請う。
8	23 "Thus says the Lord of hosts: 'In those days ten men from every language of the nations shall grasp the sleeve of a Jewish man, saying, "Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you." ' "	万軍の主は、こう仰せられる、その日には、もろもろの国ことばの民の中から十人の者が、ひとりのユダヤ人の衣のすそをつかまえて、『あなたがたと一緒に行こう。神があなたがたと共にいますことを聞いたから』と言う」。
ゼカリヤ書	Zechariah 9	9
9	1 The burden of the word of the Lord Against the land of Hadrach, And Damascus its resting place (For the eyes of men And all the tribes of Israel Are on the Lord);	託宣／主の言葉はハデラクの地に臨み、ダマスコの上にとどまる。アラムの町々はイスラエルのすべての部族のように／主に属するからである。
9	2 Also against Hamath, which borders on it, And against Tyre and Sidon, though they are very wise.	これに境するハマテもまたそのとおりだ。非常に賢いが、ツロとシドンもまた同様である。
9	3 For Tyre built herself a tower, Heaped up silver like the dust, And gold like the mire of the streets.	ツロは自分のために、とりでを築き、銀をちりのように積み、金を道ばたの泥のように積んだ。
9	4 Behold, the Lord will cast her out; He will destroy her power in the sea, And she will be devoured by fire.	しかし見よ、主はこれを攻め取り、その富を海の中に投げ入れられる。これは火で焼き滅ぼされる。
9	5 Ashkelon shall see it and fear; Gaza also shall be very sorrowful; And Ekron, for He dried up her expectation. The king shall perish from Gaza, And Ashkelon shall not be inhabited.	アシケロンはこれを見て恐れ、ガザもまた見てもだえ苦しみ、エクロンもまたその望む所のものが／はずかしめられて苦しむ。ガザには王が絶え、アシケロンには住む者がなくなり、
9	6 "A mixed race shall settle in Ashdod, And I will cut off the pride of the Philistines.	アシドドには混血の民が住む。わたしはペリシテびとの誇を断つ。
9	7 I will take away the blood from his mouth, And the abominations from between his teeth. But he who remains, even he shall be for our God, And shall be like a leader in Judah, And Ekron like a Jebusite.	またその口から血を取り除き、その歯の間から憎むべき物を取り除く。これもまた残ってわれわれの神に帰し、ユダの一民族のようになる。またエクロンはエブスびとのようになる。
9	8 I will camp around My house Because of the army, Because of him who passes by and him who returns. No more shall an oppressor pass through them, For now I have seen with My eyes.	その時わたしは、わが家のために営を張って、見張りをし、行き来する者のないようにする。しえたげる者は、かさねて通ることがない。わたしが今、自分の目で見ているからである。
9	9 "Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your King is coming to you; He is just and having salvation, Lowly and riding on a donkey, A colt, the foal of a donkey.	シオンの娘よ、大いに喜べ、エルサレムの娘よ、呼ばわれ。見よ、あなたの王はあなたの所に来る。彼は義なる者であって勝利を得、柔和であって、ろばに乗る。すなわち、ろばの子である子馬に乗る。
9	10 I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim And the horse from Jerusalem; The battle bow shall be cut off. He shall speak peace to the nations; His dominion shall be 'from sea to sea, And from the River to the ends of the earth.'	わたしはエフライムから戦車を断ち、エルサレムから軍馬を断つ。また、いくさ弓も断たれる。彼は国々の民に平和を告げ、その政治は海から海に及び、大川から地の果にまで及ぶ。
9	11 "As for you also, Because of the blood of your covenant, I will set your prisoners free from the waterless pit.	あなたについてはまた、あなたとの契約の血のゆえに、わたしはかの水のない穴から、あなたの捕われ人を解き放す。
9	12 Return to the stronghold, You prisoners of hope. Even today I declare That I will restore double to you.	望みをいだく捕われ人よ、あなたの城に帰れ。わたしはきょうもなお告げて言う、必ず倍して、あなたをもとに返すことを。
9	13 For I have bent Judah, My bow, Fitted the bow with Ephraim, And raised up your sons, O Zion, Against your sons, O Greece, And made you like the sword of a mighty man."	わたしはユダを張って、わが弓となし、エフライムをその矢とした。シオンよ、わたしはあなたの子らを呼び起して、ギリシヤの人々を攻めさせ、あなたを勇士のつるぎのようにさせる。
9	14Then the Lord will be seen over them, And His arrow will go forth like lightning. The Lord God will blow the trumpet, And go with whirlwinds from the south.	その時、主は彼らの上に現れて、その矢をいなずまのように射られる。主なる神はラッパを吹きならし、南のつむじ風に乗って出てこられる。
9	15 The Lord of hosts will defend them; They shall devour and subdue with slingstones. They shall drink and roar as if with wine; They shall be filled with blood like basins, Like the corners of the altar.	万軍の主は彼らを守られるので、彼らは石投げどもを食い尽し、踏みつける。彼らはまたぶどう酒のように彼らの血を飲み、鉢のようにそれで満たされ、祭壇のすみのように浸される。
9	16 The Lord their God will save them in that day, As the flock of His people. For they shall be like the jewels of a crown, Lifted like a banner over His land--	その日、彼らの神、主は、彼らを救い、その民を羊のように養われる。彼らは冠の玉のように、その地に輝く。

ゼカリヤ書	Zechariah 10	10
10	1 Ask the Lord for rain In the time of the latter rain. The Lord will make flashing clouds; He will give them showers of rain, Grass in the field for everyone.	あなたがたは春の雨の時に、雨を主に請い求めよ。主はいなずまを造り、大雨を人々に賜い、野の青草をおのおのに賜わる。
10	2 For the idols speak delusion; The diviners envision lies, And tell false dreams; They comfort in vain. Therefore the people wend their way like sheep; They are in trouble because there is no shepherd.	テラピムは、たわごとを言い、占い師は偽りを見、夢見る者は偽りの夢を語り、むなしい慰めを与える。このゆえに、民は羊のようにさまよい、牧者がないために悩む。
10	3 "My anger is kindled against the shepherds, And I will punish the goatherds. For the Lord of hosts will visit His flock, The house of Judah, And will make them as His royal horse in the battle.	「わが怒りは牧者にむかって燃え、わたしは雄やぎを罰する。万軍の主が、その群れの羊であるユダの家を顧み、これをみごとな軍馬のようにされるからである。
10	4 From him comes the cornerstone, From him the tent peg, From him the battle bow, From him every ruler together.	隅石は彼らから出、天幕の杭も彼らから出、いくさ弓も彼らから出、支配者も皆彼らの中から出る。
10	5 They shall be like mighty men, Who tread down their enemies In the mire of the streets in the battle. They shall fight because the Lord is with them, And the riders on horses shall be put to shame.	彼らが戦う時は勇士のようになって、道ばたの泥の中に敵を踏みにじる。主が彼らと共におられるゆえに彼らは戦い、馬に乗る者どもを困らせる。
10	6 "I will strengthen the house of Judah, And I will save the house of Joseph. I will bring them back, Because I have mercy on them. They shall be as though I had not cast them aside; For I am the Lord their God, And I will hear them.	わたしはユダの家を強くし、ヨセフの家を救う。わたしは彼らをあわれんで、彼らを連れ帰る。彼らはわたしに捨てられたことのないようになる。わたしは彼らの神、主であって、彼らに答えるからである。
10	7 Those of Ephraim shall be like a mighty man, And their heart shall rejoice as if with wine. Yes, their children shall see it and be glad; Their heart shall rejoice in the Lord.	エフライムびとは勇士のようになり、その心は酒を飲んだように喜ぶ。その子供らはこれを見て喜び、その心は主によって楽しむ。
10	8 I will whistle for them and gather them, For I will redeem them; And they shall increase as they once increased.	わたしは彼らに向かい、口笛を吹いて彼らを集める、わたしが彼らをあがなったからである。彼らは昔のように数多くなる。
10	9 "I will sow them among the peoples, And they shall remember Me in far countries; They shall live, together with their children, And they shall return.	わたしは彼らを国々の民の中に散らした。しかし彼らは遠い国々でわたしを覚え、その子供らと共に生きながらえて帰ってくる。
10	10 I will also bring them back from the land of Egypt, And gather them from Assyria. I will bring them into the land of Gilead and Lebanon, Until no more room is found for them.	わたしは彼らをエジプトの国から連れ帰り、アッスリヤから彼らを集める。わたしはギレアデの地およびレバノンに／彼らを連れて行く。彼らはいる所もないほどに多くなる。
10	11 He shall pass through the sea with affliction, And strike the waves of the sea: All the depths of the River shall dry up. Then the pride of Assyria shall be brought down, And the scepter of Egypt shall depart.	彼らはエジプトの海を通る。海の波は撃たれ、ナイルの淵はことごとくかれた。アッスリヤの高ぶりは低くされ、エジプトのつえは移り去る。
10	12 "So I will strengthen them in the Lord, And they shall walk up and down in His name," Says the Lord.	わたしは彼らを主によって強くする。彼らは主の名を誇る」と／主は言われる。
ゼカリヤ書	Zechariah 11	11
11	1 Open your doors, O Lebanon, That fire may devour your cedars.	レバノンよ、おまえの門を開き、おまえの香柏を火に焼き滅ぼさせよ。
11	2 Wail, O cypress, for the cedar has fallen, Because the mighty trees are ruined. Wail, O oaks of Bashan, For the thick forest has come down.	いとすぎよ、泣き叫べ。香柏は倒れ、みごとな木は、そこなわれたからである。バシャンのかしよ、泣き叫べ。茂った林は倒れたからである。
11	3 There is the sound of wailing shepherds! For their glory is in ruins. There is the sound of roaring lions! For the pride of the Jordan is in ruins.	聞け、牧者の泣き叫ぶ声を。彼らの栄えが消え去ったからである。聞け、ししのほえる声を。ヨルダンの草むらが荒れ果てたからである。
11	4 Thus says the Lord my God, "Feed the flock for slaughter,	わが神、主はこう仰せられた、「ほふらるべき羊の群れの牧者となれ。
11	5 whose owners slaughter them and feel no guilt; those who sell them say, 'Blessed be the Lord, for I am rich'; and their shepherds do not pity them.	これを買う者は、これをほふっても罰せられない。これを売る者は言う、『主はほむべきかな、わたしは富んだ』と。そしてその牧者は、これをあわれまない。
11	6 For I will no longer pity the inhabitants of the land," says the Lord. "But indeed I will give everyone into his neighbor's hand and into the hand of his king. They shall attack the land, and I will not deliver them from their hand."	わたしは、もはやこの地の住民をあわれまないと、主は言われる。見よ、わたしは人をおのおのその牧者の手に渡し、おのおのその王の手に渡す。彼らは地を荒す。わたしは彼らの手からこれを救い出さない」。
11	7 So I fed the flock for slaughter, in particular the poor of the flock. I took for myself two staffs: the one I called Beauty, and the other I called Bonds; and I fed the flock.	わたしは羊の商人のために、ほふらるべき羊の群れの牧者となった。わたしは二本のつえを取り、その一本を恵みと名づけ、一本を結びと名づけて、その羊を牧した。
11	8 I dismissed the three shepherds in one month. My soul loathed them, and their soul also abhorred me.	わたしは一か月に牧者三人を滅ぼした。わたしは彼らに、がまんしきれなくなったが、彼らもまた、わたしを忌みきらった。
11	9Then I said, "I will not feed you. Let what is dying die, and what is perishing perish. Let those that are left eat each other's flesh."	それでわたしは言った、「わたしはあなたがたの牧者とならない。死ぬ者は死に、滅びる者は滅び、残った者はたがいにその肉を食いあうがよい」。
11	10And I took my staff, Beauty, and cut it in two, that I might break the covenant which I had made with all the peoples.	わたしは恵みというつえを取って、これを折った。これはわたしがもろもろの民と結んだ契約を、廃するためであった。
11	11 So it was broken on that day. Thus the poor of the flock, who were watching me, knew that it was the word of the Lord.	そしてこれは、その日に廃された。そこで、わたしに目を注いでいた羊の商人らは、これが主の言葉であったことを知った。
11	12 Then I said to them, "If it is agreeable to you, give me my wages; and if not, refrain." So they weighed out for my wages thirty pieces of silver.	わたしは彼らに向かって、「あなたがたがもし、よいと思うならば、わたしに賃銀を払いなさい。もし、いけなければやめなさい」と言ったので、彼らはわたしの賃銀として、銀三十シケルを量った。
11	13 And the Lord said to me, "Throw it to the potter"--that princely price they set on me. So I took the thirty pieces of silver and threw them into the house of the Lord for the potter.	主はわたしに言われた、「彼らによって、わたしが値積られたその尊い価を、宮のさいせん箱に投げ入れよ」。わたしは銀三十シケルを取って、これを主の宮のさいせん箱に投げ入れた。
11	14 Then I cut in two my other staff, Bonds, that I might break the brotherhood between Judah and Israel.	そしてわたしは結びという第二のつえを折った。これはユダとイスラエルの間の、兄弟関係を廃するためであった。
11	15And the Lord said to me, "Next, take for yourself the implements of a foolish shepherd.	主はわたしに言われた、「おまえはまた愚かな牧者の器を取れ。
11	16 "For indeed I will raise up a shepherd in the land who will not care for those who are cut off, nor seek the young, nor heal those that are broken, nor feed those that still stand. But he will eat the flesh of the fat and tear their hooves in pieces.	見よ、わたしは地にひとりの牧者を起す。彼は滅ぼされる者を顧みず、迷える者を尋ねず、傷ついた者をいやさず、健やかな者を養わず、肥えた者の肉を食らい、そのひずめをさえ裂く者である。
11	17 "Woe to the worthless shepherd, Who leaves the flock! A sword shall be against his arm And against his right eye; His arm shall completely wither, And his right eye shall be totally blinded."	その羊の群れを捨てる愚かな牧者はわざわいだ。どうか、つるぎがその腕を撃ち、その右の目を撃つように。その腕は全く衰え、その右の目は全く見えなくなるように」。
ゼカリヤ書	Zechariah 12	12
12	1 The burden of the word of the Lord against Israel. Thus says the Lord, who stretches out the heavens, lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him:	託宣／イスラエルについての主の言葉。すなわち天をのべ、地の基をすえ、人の霊をその中に造られた主は、こう仰せられる、
12	2 "Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples, when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem.	「見よ、わたしはエルサレムを、その周囲にあるすべての民をよろめかす杯にしようとしている。これはエルサレムの攻め囲まれる時、ユダにも及ぶ。
12	3 And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it.	その日には、わたしはエルサレムをすべての民に対して重い石とする。これを持ちあげる者はみな大傷を受ける。地の国々の民は皆集まって、これを攻める。
12	4 In that day," says the Lord, "I will strike every horse with confusion, and its rider with madness; I will open My eyes on the house of Judah, and will strike every horse of the peoples with blindness.	主は言われる、その日には、わたしはすべての馬を撃って驚かせ、その乗り手を撃って狂わせる。しかし、もろもろの民の馬を、ことごとく撃って、目をくらませるとき、ユダの家に対しては、わたしの目を開く。
12	5 And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, 'The inhabitants of Jerusalem are my strength in the Lord of hosts, their God.'	その時ユダの諸族は、その心の中に『エルサレムの住民は、その神、万軍の主によって力強くなった』と言う。
12	6 In that day I will make the governors of Judah like a firepan in the woodpile, and like a fiery torch in the sheaves; they shall devour all the surrounding peoples on the right hand and on the left, but Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place--Jerusalem.	その日には、わたしはユダの諸族を、たきぎの中の火皿のようにし、麦束の中のたいまつのようにする。彼らは右に左に、その周囲にあるすべての民を、焼き滅ぼす。しかしエルサレムはなお、そのもとの所、すなわちエルサレムで、人の住む所となる。
12	7 "The Lord will save the tents of Judah first, so that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem shall not become greater than that of Judah.	主はまずユダの幕屋を救われる。これはダビデの家の光栄と、エルサレムの住民の光栄とが、ユダの光栄にまさることのないようにするためである。
12	8 In that day the Lord will defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; the one who is feeble among them in that day shall be like David, and the house of David shall be like God, like the Angel of the Lord before them.	その日、主はエルサレムの住民を守られる。彼らの中の弱い者も、その日には、ダビデのようになる。またダビデの家は神のように、彼らに先だつ主の使のようになる。
12	9 It shall be in that day that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.	その日には、わたしはエルサレムに攻めて来る国民を、ことごとく滅ぼそうと努める。
12	10"And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn.	わたしはダビデの家およびエルサレムの住民に、恵みと祈の霊とを注ぐ。彼らはその刺した者を見る時、ひとり子のために嘆くように彼のために嘆き、ういごのために悲しむように、彼のためにいたく悲しむ。
12	11In that day there shall be a great mourning in Jerusalem, like the mourning at Hadad Rimmon in the plain of Megiddo.	その日には、エルサレムの嘆きは、メギドの平野にあったハダデ・リンモンのための嘆きのように大きい。
12	12 And the land shall mourn, every family by itself: the family of the house of David by itself, and their wives by themselves; the family of the house of Nathan by itself, and their wives by themselves;	国じゅう、氏族おのおの別れて嘆く。すなわちダビデの家の氏族は別れて嘆き、その妻たちも別れて嘆く。ナタンの家の氏族は別れて嘆き、その妻たちも別れて嘆く。
12	13 the family of the house of Levi by itself, and their wives by themselves; the family of Shimei by itself, and their wives by themselves;	レビの家の氏族は別れて嘆き、その妻たちも別れて嘆く。シメイの氏族は別れて嘆き、その妻たちも別れて嘆く。
12	14 all the families that remain, every family by itself, and their wives by themselves.	その他の氏族も皆別れて嘆き、その妻たちも別れて嘆くのである。
ゼカリヤ書	Zechariah 13	13
13	1 "In that day a fountain shall be opened for the house of David and for the inhabitants of Jerusalem, for sin and for uncleanness.	その日には、罪と汚れとを清める一つの泉が、ダビデの家とエルサレムの住民とのために開かれる。
13	2 "It shall be in that day," says the Lord of hosts, "that I will cut off the names of the idols from the land, and they shall no longer be remembered. I will also cause the prophets and the unclean spirit to depart from the land.	万軍の主は言われる、その日には、わたしは地から偶像の名を取り除き、重ねて人に覚えられることのないようにする。わたしはまた預言者および汚れの霊を、地から去らせる。
13	3 It shall come to pass that if anyone still prophesies, then his father and mother who begot him will say to him, 'You shall not live, because you have spoken lies in the name of the Lord.' And his father and mother who begot him shall thrust him through when he prophesies.	もし、人が今後預言するならば、その産みの父母はこれにむかって、『あなたは主の名をもって偽りを語るゆえ、生きていることができない』と言い、その産みの父母は彼が預言している時、彼を刺すであろう。
13	4 "And it shall be in that day that every prophet will be ashamed of his vision when he prophesies; they will not wear a robe of coarse hair to deceive.	その日には、預言者たちは皆預言する時、その幻を恥じる。また人を欺くための毛の上着を着ない。
13	5 But he will say, 'I am no prophet, I am a farmer; for a man taught me to keep cattle from my youth.'	そして『わたしは預言者ではない、わたしは土地を耕す者だ。若い時から土地を持っている』と言う。
13	6 And one will say to him, 'What are these wounds between your arms?' Then he will answer, 'Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.'	もし、人が彼に『あなたの背中の傷は何か』と尋ねるならば、『これはわたしの友だちの家で受けた傷だ』と、彼は言うであろう」。
13	7 "Awake, O sword, against My Shepherd, Against the Man who is My Companion," Says the Lord of hosts. "Strike the Shepherd, And the sheep will be scattered; Then I will turn My hand against the little ones.	万軍の主は言われる、「つるぎよ、立ち上がってわが牧者を攻めよ。わたしの次に立つ人を攻めよ。牧者を撃て、その羊は散る。わたしは手をかえして、小さい者どもを攻める。
13	8 And it shall come to pass in all the land," Says the Lord, "That two-thirds in it shall be cut off and die, But one-third shall be left in it:	主は言われる、全地の人の三分の二は断たれて死に、三分の一は生き残る。
13	9 I will bring the one-third through the fire, Will refine them as silver is refined, And test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, And I will answer them. I will say, 'This is My people'; And each one will say, 'The Lord is my God.' "	わたしはこの三分の一を火の中に入れ、銀をふき分けるように、これをふき分け、金を精錬するように、これを精錬する。彼らはわたしの名を呼び、わたしは彼らに答える。わたしは『彼らはわが民である』と言い、彼らは『主はわが神である』と言う」。
ゼカリヤ書	Zechariah 14	14
14	1 Behold, the day of the Lord is coming, And your spoil will be divided in your midst.	見よ、主の日が来る。その時あなたの奪われた物は、あなたの中で分かたれる。
14	2 For I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem; The city shall be taken, The houses rifled, And the women ravished. Half of the city shall go into captivity, But the remnant of the people shall not be cut off from the city.	わたしは万国の民を集めて、エルサレムを攻め撃たせる。町は取られ、家はかすめられ、女は犯され、町の半ばは捕えられて行く。しかし残りの民は町から断たれることはない。
14	3 Then the Lord will go forth And fight against those nations, As He fights in the day of battle.	その時、主は出てきて、いくさの日にみずから戦われる時のように、それらの国びとと戦われる。
14	4 And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, Which faces Jerusalem on the east. And the Mount of Olives shall be split in two, From east to west, Making a very large valley; Half of the mountain shall move toward the north And half of it toward the south.	その日には彼の足が、東の方エルサレムの前にあるオリブ山の上に立つ。そしてオリブ山は、非常に広い一つの谷によって、東から西に二つに裂け、その山の半ばは北に、半ばは南に移り、
14	5 Then you shall flee through My mountain valley, For the mountain valley shall reach to Azal. Yes, you shall flee As you fled from the earthquake In the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Thus the Lord my God will come, And all the saints with You.	わが山の谷はふさがれる。裂けた山の谷が、そのかたわらに接触するからである。そして、あなたがたはユダの王ウジヤの世に、地震を避けて逃げたように逃げる。こうして、あなたがたの神、主はこられる、もろもろの聖者と共にこられる。
14	6 It shall come to pass in that day That there will be no light; The lights will diminish.	その日には、寒さも霜もない。
14	7 It shall be one day Which is known to the Lord-- Neither day nor night. But at evening time it shall happen That it will be light.	そこには長い連続した日がある（主はこれを知られる）。これには昼もなく、夜もない。夕暮になっても、光があるからである。
14	8 And in that day it shall be That living waters shall flow from Jerusalem, Half of them toward the eastern sea And half of them toward the western sea; In both summer and winter it shall occur.	その日には、生ける水がエルサレムから流れ出て、その半ばは東の海に、その半ばは西の海に流れ、夏も冬もやむことがない。
14	9 And the Lord shall be King over all the earth. In that day it shall be-- "The Lord is one," And His name one.	主は全地の王となられる。その日には、主ひとり、その名一つのみとなる。
14	10 All the land shall be turned into a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem. Jerusalem shall be raised up and inhabited in her place from Benjamin's Gate to the place of the First Gate and the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananeel to the king's winepresses.	全地はゲバからエルサレムの南リンモンまで、平地のように変る。しかしエルサレムは高くなって、そのもとの所にとどまり、ベニヤミンの門から、先にあった門の所に及び、隅の門に至り、ハナネルのやぐらから、王の酒ぶねにまで及ぶ。
14	11 The people shall dwell in it; And no longer shall there be utter destruction, But Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.	その中には人が住み、もはやのろいはなく、エルサレムは安らかに立つ。
14	12 And this shall be the plague with which the Lord will strike all the people who fought against Jerusalem: Their flesh shall dissolve while they stand on their feet, Their eyes shall dissolve in their sockets, And their tongues shall dissolve in their mouths.	エルサレムを攻撃したもろもろの民を、主は災をもって撃たれる。すなわち彼らはなお足で立っているうちに、その肉は腐れ、目はその穴の中で腐れ、舌はその口の中で腐れる。
14	13 It shall come to pass in that day That a great panic from the Lord will be among them. Everyone will seize the hand of his neighbor, And raise his hand against his neighbor's hand;	その日には、主は彼らを大いにあわてさせられるので、彼らはおのおのその隣り人を捕え、手をあげてその隣り人を攻める。
14	14 Judah also will fight at Jerusalem. And the wealth of all the surrounding nations Shall be gathered together: Gold, silver, and apparel in great abundance.	ユダもまた、エルサレムに敵して戦う。その周囲のすべての国びとの財宝、すなわち金銀、衣服などが、はなはだ多く集められる。
14	15Such also shall be the plague On the horse and the mule, On the camel and the donkey, And on all the cattle that will be in those camps. So shall this plague be.	また馬、騾馬、らくだ、ろば、およびその陣営にあるすべての家畜にも、この災のような災が臨む。
14	16 And it shall come to pass that everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.	エルサレムに攻めて来たもろもろの国びとの残った者は、皆年々上って来て、王なる万軍の主を拝み、仮庵の祭を守るようになる。
14	17 And it shall be that whichever of the families of the earth do not come up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, on them there will be no rain.	地の諸族のうち、王なる万軍の主を拝むために、エルサレムに上らない者の上には、雨が降らない。
14	18If the family of Egypt will not come up and enter in, they shall have no rain; they shall receive the plague with which the Lord strikes the nations who do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.	エジプトの人々が、もし上ってこない時には、主が仮庵の祭を守るために、上ってこないすべての国びとを撃たれるその災が、彼らの上に臨む。
14	19This shall be the punishment of Egypt and the punishment of all the nations that do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.	これが、エジプトびとの受ける罰、およびすべて仮庵の祭を守るために上ってこない国びとの受ける罰である。
14	20 In that day "HOLINESS TO THE LORD" shall be engraved on the bells of the horses. The pots in the Lord's house shall be like the bowls before the altar.	その日には、馬の鈴の上に「主に聖なる者」と、しるすのである。また主の宮のなべは、祭壇の前の鉢のように、聖なる物となる。
14	21 Yes, every pot in Jerusalem and Judah shall be holiness to the Lord of hosts. Everyone who sacrifices shall come and take them and cook in them. In that day there shall no longer be a Canaanite in the house of the Lord of hosts.	エルサレムおよびユダのすべてのなべは、万軍の主に対して聖なる物となり、すべて犠牲をささげる者は来てこれを取り、その中で犠牲の肉を煮ることができる。その日には、万軍の主の宮に、もはや商人はいない。
